Johnson's no panacea, and I'd be the first to say that I certainly expected more out of him, but I try to shift him from Paul-lite to Obama or Romney -lite. Most of his polices are identical to Paul, and where they differ the difference is slight in comparison to the other candidates.
Yeah I changed my mind again, he's good enough. He's not going to win anyway so it'll just be a vote to keep the momentum of the libertarian movement going. I think we need a diversity of tactics. The republican party could end up a complete dead end so it's worth supporting LP candidates who are decent.

Doubt it, but him having a significant presence will keep the word libertarian in the news. And that's important. Who knows, maybe next time a better more Rothbardian type will be the LP candidate, and actually have a chance at winning because Gary Johnson performed so strongly in 2012.
