LP would be idiots to nominate Johnson over McAfee. But being the LP, my guess is that is exactly what they will do. I wonder how much Ron Paul's run in 2008 damaged the LP long term. Seems like ever since then, all the real libertarians have been futzing around in the GOP and that allowed the GOP-lite wing of the LP take over the party.

It doesn't sound like he has an open borders policy. He would use big government to invade the privacy of potential immigrants so he can charge more taxes. That's kind of what the law is now. The problem is that this administration does not enforce it.

At least be honest about what he believes.

You do me a disservice, sir. I've been quite careful also to shit on Johnson for his desire to force conservative Christian priests to perform gay marriages, too.

Add some solid pro-choice in all his answers, and pro-state-controlled gay marriage, and we find out that he's basically redlining at 11% and is going to throw a rod any moment now.
