FreedomWatch's FBN debut June 12th - "Tea Party Summit" w/ Ron Paul, Sarah Palin more

I am so sad that I can't watch this right now. Stream doesn't work and I just found out my stupid cable doesn't have FBN. The ONE time I use the damn TV and it still doesn't pull through!

As Cavuto says... if you don't get FBN... DEMAND IT!!

Paul "I was pleasantly surprised when Gov. Palin [stuck her neck out against the party elite] and endorsed Rand. 5 years ago, I would've said it'll never happen. Now, things are changing, so I thought maybe."

Palin -- "generational theft"

Palin -- "I'm an independent, even though I have this label of social conservative on my forehead. I happen to find my home in the Republican party"

Judge --"I see a great deal of unity here. People sick of the overreach of the federal government"

Here comes Ed!

btw, Ron & Rand are both in studio with Judge -- cool.

Ed Rendell up next -- voice of the opposition.

OK now they are going to Rendell, (however you spell it) and I'm not interested. I'm leaving it on for the Judge's ratings, but see no reason I should watch that part, I'm already up to speed on the opposition.

I honestly think as a showcase for Ron it was a poor vehicle because they used him as an almost 'libertine' foil for Palin, but I'm sure he went along with it because Rand was presented as the fusion candidate. Still, it will leave GOP thinking 'he's to extreme' when he has absolute 'get from a to b' positions that look a whole lot like Rand's platform.

However, I'm still waiting for more info on that bailout senator thing, on Rand. That's shaken me a bit.

Rendell "Tea Party movement, members are small in number, I could get 100,000 people to come and protest against dog abuse"

Rendell: "We need Balance..."

translation, "Let's just give up HALF our freedoms!"

:(

Ron Paul is a professor first, a politician second. In every instance where he had to choose between telling the truth and score political points, he chose the former.

The whole point of Freedom Watch is to expand the number of topics that are acceptable to discuss, and it can only happen if prestigious people show up and take unpopular positions.

Wow, Judge is shotgunning Rendell. Way to stay in control.

Judge: "I'm looking for areas where even you Ed have agreement with the tea party movement"

Also, Ron is pretty much bulletproof in his district. Rand is going to have to phrase his responses a bit more carefully given that he's running for Senate, and in Kentucky.

This show does everything to give legitimacy to Ron Paul and the voice of less government across the board. Even as a pol junkie, it's quite a lot to absorb, like drinking from a firehose.
