Freedom Watch cancelled, will air last episode next week

One of the best shows out there cancelled. Sucks.

They actually canceled three shows, not just FreedomWatch.

I wouldn't read that much into it to be honest. They left it up for a really long time, I don't think this is about the content.

Man, I was just thinking, earlier today, how have they let this show last so long on a main stream channel. So we won't even have him through the convention then. That sucks. It even frightens me a bit. Maybe he can get the internet show back. I preferred that anyway.

This may not have been about content, but without Freedom Watch there are no libertarian oriented shows in the mainstream media at all. With all conservative and liberal pundits you'd think they'd throw us at least one bone.

This is great news! He isn't bound contractually anymore and for all we know he wouldn't renew it. It could be that he has other plans in the near future!

Damn, that was the only good show on Fox (even though it was on FB)... (ok, I forgot Stossel... But I can't imagine the numbers were bad for freedom watch ???? I really can't.)

It should have been the most popular show at FBN! I know a couple guys, at least, who upgraded their cable TV plan to add FBN only because they wanted to watch this particular show.

Not enough watchers...if they cancelled it because he got too close to the truth they wouldn't have accepted the platform in the first place.

Its all about ratings...

FWIW: Neil Cavuto is in charge of all content on FBN.

One thing going against it was that it was a political analysis show on a business channel. I heard that was one of the reasons it was on the ropes, didn't really fit in on the network. They better give Judge more time on Fox News now though, I haven't really seen him on the main channel lately, that horrible Peter Johnson guy seems to be doing a lot of the legal analysis type stuff that Judge used to do.

It's probably about ratings, and budget. If you have a block of TV from 8/9/10pm with full staffs that isn't pulling in the necessary ad revenue, the plug-pulling is inevitable. Cheaper to run re-runs.

I'm not all angry at FBN. Neil Cavuto is probably the fairest news big-wig there is to Ron; and a lot of on-air people are supportive of him it seems at FBN.

My guess is it was less a content decision, and more a budget decision.

8pm is just a tough slot with O'Reilly and a lot of pretty cool cable shows out there to watch.

this. It was a bad fit from the start. Should have been on FNC.
