So that makes 79 out 532, or about 15% of Congress who are following the Constitution at least 70% of the time. Pretty paltry numbers.

Salmon is actually a fantastic congressman. Arizona has a great House delegation with Salmon, Gosar and Schweikert.

Pretty interesting article about Thom Tillis from today. Basically, he skipped Senate Armed Services meetings regarding ISIS that were setup by John McCain and instead decided to meet privately with....Dick Cheney! http://www.newsobserver.com/opinion/editorials/article27548662.html

No, Jones got a 90% score this year. The number here is an average, which includes Jones scores from before he became a Constitutionalist.

I think the Liberty movement pretty much agrees Flake has sucked ever since he graduated from House to Senate. I haven't seen him stand out on anything in a positive way. Some of the House guys voted against Boehner though, they are noticeably better than most Congressmen.

If you look at Gosar, Salmon, and Schweikert's voting records you'd see they're good.

PHOENIX — With gun control activists in Arizona vowing to remove him from office, Republican U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake said Friday he wants Congress to expand background checks for firearm buyers, despite his recent vote against the Senate’s bipartisan plan.


The so-called Manchin-Toomey measure voted down by Flake and others in the Senate Wednesday was too broad, but a streamlined version should win Congress’ support, Flake said. His remarks Friday were designed to pacify gun control advocates who have demanded an apology from Flake after the popular gun control measure backed by President Barack Obama and voters was stalled in the Senate.


Proponents say it will be harder to advance the gun control drive as more time lapses between December’s killing of children and staff at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., but Flake said he remains optimistic.


“I hope this debate isn’t over. I hope we can continue,” Flake said in a phone interview Friday. “We do need to take measures to make this situation better and we can do so in a way that is consistent with the Second Amendment.”

Of the ten or so times I've tried to reach his office, his staff cannot even be bothered to answer.

I really am trying to be open minded.

Vote after vote I've checked, I cannot recall an instance of seeing their names in the appropriate column (not that they haven't had good votes, of course).

From NSA authorities, to foreign interventions, to etc.

I'm not as politically active as some are, so I was just wondering what, in particular, they've done that is good for this country.

Thanks for that link; that sounds like something he would do...met with that war mongering Cheney; of course McCain isn't any better. Very weird.
