Free at Last Money Bomb is Official

guys ...this is the real moneybomb. they're goin for as many donors as possible which is why they got it down to $10. These guys were successful in initiating the last two money bombs so there is absolutely no reason not to tip our hats to this one.

Reason 1: MLK was a Communist-sympathizer and that is a fact well known by a large number of traditional conservative REPUBLICANS.

Reason 2: We are seeking the REPUBLICAN nomination. See Reason 1.

Reason 3: Concerns about the reaction from the King Foundation. At least check into this beforehand.

Reason 4: It looks like pandering of the worst kind. (Lookie, we can't be racist, because we're throwing a MB on a black guy's birthday).

Well if it aint the old gray-haired establishment gatekeeper mole who gets behind every dubious fundraiser that gets posted. At least the donors can be sure that their $10 isn’t going into an unknown paypal account of some anonymous username on an online forum.

Dude, relax. Take a chill pill. It will be ok.

1. This will greatly combat the racist stuff going around.

2. I seriously doubt the king foundation will give a sh8t. They will probably be honored. If not then we will finally get some media attention.

3. Not pandering at all. It is an important holiday in American history.

I think $110 makes it affordable for people to participate in both, it's not about media attention this time, just about raising money

I think if we do any money bomb it should go towards grassroots. We are running out of opportunities here. Overall the strategy of HQs and the commercials produced leave alot of room to be desired.

Why does the original post say coordinated with Trevor Lyman as if this gives it automatic credibility...

he hasn't done much and he's getting a lot of credit for it. I mean yea, he was a SMALL PART of November 5th... and his name has been stapled to everything since then... so he's a name... ?

Good idea for a fundraiser--but I fail to see whether it's important that he endorses it or not. No offense meant to him or anyone else, but really?

Both of the successful moneybombs did not come from Trevor as was stated in this thread, they came from these forums and people got behind them and that is why they were successful.

This idea didn't come from these forums and when it was brought up, the majority shot it down. You cannot have a successful moneybomb without the majority of the grassroots behind it. These things require promotion in the outside world and without most of the people here on board that is not going to happen.

Honestly I thought this died when 90% of the people in the original thread were against it.

That's right, EC. I'm a maxed out donor to the campaign and someone who has spent thousands of dollars supporting grassroots projects, because I am a dedicated mole. You, on the other hand, are a Canadian citizen who has not and cannot donate to any of these efforts. Choosing instead to threaten to hang up RP supporters by meathooks, who disagree with your conspiracy theories or edicts.

There are already 3,500 pledges. This is growing rapidly. About 100 new pledges within the last couple hours.

That is not true. Both moneybombs were initiated by Trevor, promoted by alternative media and supported by Ron Paul supporters along with the members on this forum.

But that's not important. If ya ain't interested in coughin up the ten bucks then get on ta somethin else.
