Would Fred Thompson pleeezz end his misery and drop out. It's like watching a zombie that just wont die.

I'm really not sure how much hes hurting our efforts one way or another.

The vast majority of his supporters will go directly to McCain, so we aren't really affected by his voter base. However, if it drops to a 5 man race, our 5th place showings look alot worse :)

Thats why we ought to work on converting his supporters...he's the closest to Paul of all the other candidates. We could win them over.

Actually, the Fred supporters I know absolutely DESPISE McCain...but they also don't like Ron Paul, so I'm not sure where they will go...

Actually, my dad is probably going to vote for Ron Paul and he's been a huge FredHead for a long time.

WORK WITH OTHERS. We Americans should be brothers, not enemies.

Naw, huck will pick most of them up. Fred and Huck represent the old Republican, religious and conservative right. McCain is a more moderate.

I don't know where you get off thinking you're in a position where you can talk thrash about how another candidate has performed in the votes so far. Maybe if you were a Romney or McCain supporter you could belittle Thomspon, but Ron Paul hasn't been performing spectacularly himself. And in what counts, number of delegates, Thompson is actually ahead of Paul.

Thompson is supposed to be the "fiscal conservative" so it's possible Fred's people will gravitate towards Paul.

I don't know about Fred supporters on the net, but I've converted several real life Fred supporters. Pretty much, I just showed them Ron's record. I told them if they could find someone with a better record, I'd switch my vote. That got them looking into things, and they couldn't turn back from there.

It's a lot harder to convince someone on the net because it's not personal. In person we can look into someone's eyes and tell them why you're so committed to Ron Paul, and they might just be swayed.

As long as Fred is in the race, he's pulling votes from Huckabee and Mitt. So STFU.
