These are two candidates who have been COMPLETELY ignored by the media for the exception of a mention on the Rachael Maddow show, though in the sake of fairness I'd give them a thread so they don't feel left out.

Fred Karger - Florida Gay Rights activist and former advisor to Reagan, Bush Jr. and Senior. - First Candidate to actually declare leave the exploratory process into a full fledged campaign for 2012 nomination - First openly Gay GOP nominee contender in history.

Buddy Roemer - Former Lousiana Govenor - Former Democrat - Got less votes in the 1991 gubernatorial race than White Supremacist David Duke - still in the exploratory progress doing an RV tour.

I think Roemer will get into the debates and may appeal to some grassroot/tea party/southerners with his outsider/populist message. Unfortunately, I don't think Karger will get into any major debates and will get little/no attention outside of the LBGT community.

I hope that is not the case, Karger should be in the debates, I'm not his supporter, but I'd love to see him get some attention where's GOProud on this?

This is from an old post on Rights Equal March, late last July of 2010, but,
Link

Potential gay GOP presential contender Fred Karger, who founded Californians Against Hate – which just changed its name to Rights Equal Rights – thinks that’s just spin:

“GOProud should not even be considered a gay Republican group, and should not be called so. They are a Republican ultra conservative group, apparently made up of only a handful of members. They don’t even support pro gay Republicans. In California last month they endorsed the same candidate in the U. S. Senate race as the most anti-gay organization in the country, the dreaded National Organization for Marriage, against former Republican Congressman Tom Campbell, who supports full LGBT equality.

They instead should be called GOEmbarrassment.”

So, I'm not seeing much love there.

Also, I heard David Duke was going to consider a run a while back,
Roemer/Duke rematch anyone?

Oi... Duke Vs. Roemer would be an amuzing side attraction to this whole story, although Duke just being in the primary would be MSNBC #1 story to make all republicans sound as recist as he is...

I Fred Karger can poll 1 or 2% before this is all said and done, just a sign of tolerance in society although does anyone have a list of all his positions I doubt there is anything all that great, I just want to make sure he doesn't have anything horrendous on his agenda like more wars.

The way he's made it sound, he makes it seem like he's a Nelson Rockefeller/Lincoln Chafee Republican.

According to wiki, he wants immigration reform, to improve education, the repeal of DOMA, and a 28th amendment to lower the voting age.
Wonkette claims he's anti-war, but I can't find any other site to back that up.
He also threw some money Clinton's way in 2008, and according to his site, the earliest campaigns he ever worked on were Nelson Rockefeller's,

Update: Buddy Roemer was invited to the may 5th debate while Karger was not, so Karger issued a press statement inviting himself.

Buddy Roemers big talking piece is he's trying to raise 100 dollars from 3 million people and not raise money for corp interest

Fred Karger won a straw poll in NH and seems to be staking much of his campaign on NH, and seem to be running for the main purpose of stopping Romney cause of the Mormons chuchs hostility towards gays.

that's about all I know.

Roemer was governor of Louisiana and is running on not being corporatist. Unfortunately it seems he once proposed a 'Roemer Revolution', but while he runs on fiscal conseravatism apparently his vibe is new age (I read something about retreats where his aides snapped rubber bands on their wrists and said 'cancel, cancel' to banish bad thoughts....) I think he plans on being an internet sensation.
