watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Yes
vote for Bush? Yes (supported McCain in 2000)
Initially think Muslims are bad people? No, never.
Initially supported Iraq War? Yes, before I realized most of the 'facts' which caused me to support it were completely mistaken.

I'm the kind of guy we need to win over to do anything in this race. The thoughtful, intelligent (not to float my own boat, or anything) Republicans willing to change their minds. I've reached a different point altogether now though, where I would support Dr. Paul as a 3rd party candidate -- something I would have never done before. When I see them laugh at Ron Paul on that stage I feel like they're laughing at me, and at the ideas of those like Reagan who once described the Middle East situation as unwinnable. If Ron Paul runs 3rd party I want the Republicans to lose and I want them to know that it was on our account -- on my account -- and, when it really comes down to it -- on their account. That's what Ron Paul meant to me tonight when he challenged Romney to "make fun, buddy." Romney, and the others on that stage make fun of us at their own peril. Of course, after they lose, they will realize their error and hopefully the political scene will evolve. That's what I hope, at least.

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Definitely, used to like it, but I've been getting more into CNN over the past year, nothing to do with Paul though. I just think Blitzer gives more fair journalism. Wish they'd bring back Crossfire, though.
vote for Bush? Wasn't eligible but would have and probably still would if no one better was running, didn't want Kerry.
Initially supported Iraq War? Not really. I hoped against hope it would be so successful we could just leave right away. :(

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Unfortunately yes, sometimes until about 3 years after first 2000 Bush election
vote for Bush? First time yes, then finally realized he nor the neo-cons are conservative and they hijacked conservatism
Initially supported Iraq War? NO, and I protested it with my liberal friends

I used to watch it for a while, then Fahrenheit 911 made me question a lot of what I was seeing. After that it dwindled and stopped.

Now it is 100% blatant.

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Yes

vote for Bush? Yes

Initially supported Iraq War? No, but later did as I got sold on the Bush vision... (I know, I know...)

comments: Um, Live Free or Die. This nation is big enough to forgive and move on, but we cannot, and must not sacrifice the rule of law, the bedrock that is the Constitution. "You had me at Constitution", is what I would say to Dr. Paul should I meet him some day.

-Watch Fox News before Ron Paul? :Not often, as I did not care much about
politics.

-Vote for Bush? : Yes I voted for Bush both times. I voted for Ross the time before

-Initially think Muslims are bad people? :No I did not.

-Initially supported Iraq War? Yes, I supported it and in fact, despite being slightly out of shape and starting a young family I was seriously considering (to the dismay of my wife) signing on to the navy because I had aged out on the others

-comments: What got me listening to Ron Paul was the talk about personal liberty, personal freedom... that a national government has NO right to tell me what I can do with my own body. That a national government should not be able to get a piece of what my own body does. (tax my labor) But I am very happy to say that my eyes are now open to "our" policing the world and trying to control what people do and how they think. I was WRONG not to be involved in politics before now. Thinking that lil-ol-me cannot make any difference in the world is the reason we have become more interested in American Idol than true American Ideals.

watch Fox before? Yes.
vote for bush? No. (Didn't vote, although I wanted him to win.)
Initially support Iraq? Yes, hell I was there...

Granted if they see fit to force us to stay there, I'd want it done correctly. Obviously, I don't think we should be there though, and I am definitely not the minority from the interactions I've had with other Marines. (Minus the "if we do stay, finally finish the damn job" guys)

usmcZ.....seems like you would know this....
when Mcaine goes to Iraq who does he meet?....do the marines actually tellem that stuff??....or does he pull it out of his ass?

I didn't watch it, but I'll answer for my mother:

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? -- Yes
vote for Bush? -- Yes
Initially supported Iraq War? -- Yes

It was actually Fox News at one of their debates that converted my mom to Ron Paul. I had been telling her about him but she didn't really seem to care that much. I don't think she really believed everything I was saying, but being her son she listened and took me seriously.

When she watched one of the Fox New's debates she was so upset at how they treated RP -- laughing at him and asking if he took his marching orders from terrorists. I think she took it personally, since it was like they were accusing her son (me) of supporting terrorists. Since then she's jump completely on the RP bandwagon. From that day on she has stopped watching Faux News and now hates them and everything that comes out of their mouths.

So... You can thank Fox News and their attempted manipulation for at least one RP vote.

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Everyday
vote for Bush? first election yes no strings attached, second election yes because of SSecurity reform (the only reason)
Initially supported Iraq War? No, I never bought the WMD argument and thought even if he did have them we were not invading other countries like North Korea.

Will I watch FOX again? Only when Ron Paul is on it.
Will I vote for a neo con? Hell no.
Do I support the war? No.

1. i watched fox news every now and then...was never a "destination channel" like espn or discovery for me. i am a huge sports nut and have been obsessed with RPs message ever since the first time i heard him speak on youtube. i have been tirelessly researching and spreading his message ever since.

2. no in 2000 (didn't vote, didn't care) yes in 2004 - lesser of 2 evils. i have never been involved too heavily in politics...sometimes the "conspiracy theories" would garner my interest for a few days and i would watch videos on the 'net but that was the extent of my knowledge. until this fall when i discovered the rEVOLution.

3. 50/50. i was in the service and i was scared to be shipped out. on the other hand, all my training prepared me and motivated me for such an event that i was ready. i never was shipped out.

there was a time when i would listen to hannity's and limbaugh's radio shows to get a perspective on politics. i didn't ever pay much attention though...that has all since changed and i am happy to report i am a precinct leader for the revolution!!!

Ron Paul 2008!

fox was my news network of choice from 2000-2003. It was always biased but what became more annoying was the sensationalism and overcoverage of trivial/tabloid stories.

I voted for Bush in 2000, I didn't vote in 2004.

I did support the war.

The current crop of candidates are fighting over an increasing shrinking Republican base. Implicitly there is the assumption that Clinton will win the Demo nomination and the Republican base will be re-energized by the prospect of another Clinton presidency. That's wishful thinking. America is tired of the Bush administration and as long as these guys march in lock step with that administration then we are going to see the GOP face an electoral drubbing in November.

nope

watch Fox News before Ron Paul? Never heard of it until now.
vote for Bush? Hell no.
