For the past two weeks they've been praising Romney, yet this is what they have to say about Ron.
Surely most of the public has to see through this bias.

The attack on Friday's "Special Report" was even worse. The signed newsletter said "and I am a trained physician", something like that.

Ron should explain to people how big his staff was and who the possible people were, imo

Fox et al are shooting themselves in the foot by being so vocal about something everyone else knows is nothing. I'm sure many people are seeing through this and thinking to themselves, 'the media is biased as hell', and wondering why. There is only one enevitable conclusion people can take from this and that is, the establishment controls the media. I suspect the majority of people are going to think for themselves this time around and not let the media choose the next president.

I disagree, I think the signed newsletter Fox used causes problems for the campaign.

At the very least he should say Lew was a managing editor.

What positive thinking you have sir.

I want to see Paul do an interview with that Bret guy and attack him on these charges.

I would also love to see him attack Krauthammer on his policies.

Why should he give them any kind of legitimacy? Do you know who owns the media?

Here is a very good video explaining why the media is the way it is.

i don't know how much more obvious the media-elites can get. i'd suggest getting a hold of one of these if you can-- and for anyone who is all "but i saw on Fox news blah blah blah" show them this and ask them to explain what it means.

Oh that's classic. Letting the sheep pull the media down the hill. Haha haha... :D

I don't think they do it on purpose though. They just have a different ideology. Just as the liberal media will smear republicans, so will republican media smear liberal and libertarian candidates. We have only Fox business though and even when we smear others no one really watches.

Ok but part of the campaign should be to confront this head on.

Challenging Fox is fun and would help Ron Paul.

If you view the video I posted above, you can see, it is done on purpose. Yes, they have a different ideology and those controlling the media use it to promote that ideology. The video is really quite good at explaining why they are doing it.

Why not just give them enough rope to hang themselves? Anymore, I laugh when I see them spouting their gibberish. It shows how desperate they really are.

Because the internet and Google are becoming involved in this now.

If he wants to put the quotes in context he needs to. Some people say the quotes are fine if put into context, so he needs to do that.

The campaign is not handling this well at the moment. Bashing Fox is a way to get exposure too, since they took a cheap shot on Friday.

Well, the longer the campaign waits the more the media will expose itself for what it really is. Letting Google and the rest chime in is doing Google and the rest the most damage that can possibly be done.

This is an important thread. A couple of posters seem as if they're dismissing it.

Fox News has been as bad as MSNBC, it just took a Dr. Paul candidacy for me to admit that.

There are a lot of new members here who may not yet realize that Fox News, FoxNation.com, Rush, National Review, et al are 100% against Dr. Paul. Fox News figured out that it needs to hide it's bias a little better because Paul supporters are largely Republican.

The media is part of the system that Dr. Paul has to engage with if he's to become president. There is no way around it. If it wasn't for the internet there is no way Dr. Paul would have a chance.

How is it causing a problem if no one outside the media gives a damn? Just like with Rand Paul and the Civil Rights Act non-story.

The polls still have us up. Hopefully Paul will beat Fox News' candidate (Romney) on January 3rd. That would really rile them up. :D
