He seemed absolutely bewildered that Newt would flip flop on his own statements of becoming more disciplined because he was older now and being able to hold his tongue and watch what pops out of his mouth. Wallace really nailed Newt and said that he was shocked to see Newt go with personal attacks on Ron Paul and his supporters, calling them un-american.
Wallace then went on to say that he felt Newt was now no longer a front runner because of the RCP average and that he was in the same lower level as Bachmann and Perry.

It was really nice to see that segment happen.
Give it time to convert. shot from my cell phone, sorry, best I could do.

Newt is spoiled, much like Romney. When something is said that he doesn't like (would YOU vote for RON PAUL), he can't help himself. He breaks down into tantrum mode.

Up we go, down we go.

Gingrich's 13% is definitely less than it was. I think Gringrich has momentum, and will finish 4th.

Yes, his tone was devastating too. Sadly all the attacking of Paul, and now Newt, by the media is probably helping Romney.

Newt's finishing himself off. The GOP establishment knows that they can't afford to piss us off too much.

Newt Gingrich?

Either a small amphibian or an irritating rash, we can't decide...

That is shocking. I guess they had to do something to at least give off the appearance of being "fair and balanced" since it is kind of obvious they aren't at all.

Maybe the edict has come down from Ted Turner, Bob Iger and Rupert Murdoch.. "Ok guys, we will now coalesce around Romney, NO MORE NEWT!"

Ron Paul leads with 38% of the vote among IA caucus goers that don't regularly watch foxnews. food for thought...

I saw that too, I was stunned. It was pretty sweet that they also gave Jesse Benton's response to the Newt attacks which condemned Newt as crazed and unelectable (lol).

Imho, They've finally realized Newt isn't happening, so maybe a little assistance to Mitt would be in order. Don't want to tick-off the RP supporters at this stage, and don't want to split the vote. Got themselves into a wee predicament.
