Fox lets Glenn Beck show Scariest chart ever?!

Well...I know humans exist, and I know boars exist.
It's their "rights" I'm not so sure about.
We have perceived rights which we are willing to defend through violence.
Whether or not those are "natural" is cause for debate.

If any boar or human is willing to take the same actions in the same circumstances, then it must be something in their head that is making them do it. If an unthinking animal can do it, then it's probably not a result of cultural influence, meaning that it is probably. . . what now? NATURAL!

If you say I don't have that right, then I'll just kill you when you try to take it away. I'll also put your head on a stake in front of my house as a warning to others who would try to violate my rights.

I want to live. That doesn't mean I have the right to. The fact that you plan on killing me and taking away my "right" shows what a lot of good that right actually does me.

You have no idea where our rights come from, do you?

All rights stem from force of arms. The Constitution is a wondrous document that frees us from violent enforcement of our rights, by ceding the power to the courts. The court weighs the rights of everyone together, and comes out with what it considers the "most fair" solution, as dictated by codes of laws, including the Constitution.

If you violate my natural rights, you have brought retribution down upon yourself. You can still defend yourself. However, if your violation of my rights was so monstrous that others join me in in attacking you, you don't really have much chance. Its very "law of the jungle". One of the principle purposes of civilization is to shield people from the need for such actions.

Silverlinkx2: You are a moral relativist by definition if you do not believe in natural rights.

still don't understand the contempt for fox around here. they know their customer base and show them what they want to see. they're in it for making money. simple. and yet that bothers you guys. i don't get it.

The biggest culprit of fairness is Fox News. They refer to the top 3 candidates almost 5 times more than they refer to any of the other candidates. Mitt Romney was referenced 13,000 times on the FoxNews.com domain while Ron Paul has only been referenced 248 times. So for every 52.4 articles on Mitt Romney, there will only be one article on Ron Paul. That is absurd. On no other news source is the disparity as large as it is on Fox News.

Ron Paul excluded from FoxNews debate, covered by CNN

Ron Paul wins another debate, users text their votes via cellphone. Remember that?

No congratulations, instead, you get this:

Faux News will show a lot of good stuff now that a Democrat is in the White House. If it were Bush/McCain, then they would have certainly denied Beck showing that.

you're all free market economists, get the hell over it. they supply a product, and a ton of people happen to want that product. head over to drudge to see the figures for yourself.

or do you want your little government to coddle you and force the big mean networks to show things only you want to see?

lol irony at its finest. An RP supporter complaining about a private enterprise.

The big news organizations and networks are financially and ideologically connected to government and politicians, and as RP likes to say when gov and business collude it is fascism. Government control of news and information is not cohesive with free markets, free society, and constitutional government.
The networks are a monopoly, enforced by the government through complicated legislation and regulation.

You can take any ideology too far, I believe you are doing so here. Fox the network providing its viewers with programming they want is fine. News organizations with positions reinforced by government power basically broadcasting constant propaganda and misinformation is not.

The media basically works like this as I understand it. You say what the gov wants the people to hear, and you make a lot of money and get lots of airtime. If you don't, you are gone or are made into a joke to discredit the other side. See peter schiff, ron paul, and so many others treatment by the MSM. Also the way the media sucks off Obama and all the powerful politicians. Jerk them off on air, reap the rewards. Cross them and never get serious work. Again this is fascism.

For this stuff to be okay with free market economics enthusiasts such as ourselves, there must be FREE AND OPEN COMPETITION. There is no such thing in American News Media. Al-Jezzera is not allowed to have a US tv station, or Russia Today, ect. Behind the scenes a war is being waged against citizen and other free journalism on the web. The networks and government even ban any advertising of alternative media or other things that dont fit with their agenda. NBC, or ABC I forget, flat refused to air paid for ads pointing out the complete ignoring and tearing up of the constitution during election season.

Fascism. Propaganda. Socialism. All happening right in front of everyones eyes. Fucking scary if you ask me, I almost wish I had never gotten into this stuff.

The Fox News video is cutting out half way through now, at least for me, but the one here still seems to work:

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/81073

Disturbing. Glenn Beck said openly that the video would be available on the foxnews website and to spread it to all of your friends. Now it doesn't work.

glenn mentioned a link to the video of him in the Al gore machine showing the graph at the end of today's show, saying to email the link to everyone you know

who the f*ck is talking about the government getting involved. This is NO contradiction here. None.

It is because they refused to allow Ron Paul to participate in their debate. Screw them and their advertisers forever.

You're absolutely right. Who's going to educate the people then? On whose dime? Who owns the networks? With whose money? Why should they bother trying to "educate" people? Its their money. Its their business. If they're not getting government help then they really don't have any blame to take.

Well, the major networks are getting gov. help (through licensing of television airwaves)...But I do believe the "tide has turned" this generation has now escaped the grasp of the "mainstream" and the old guard is going to be SCRAMBLING to establish new "constraints" so that they control the Internet as well.

Where were you during the primaries when they did everything they could to discredit Ron Paul as a lunatic, a kook, and even a traitor? Fox is a major reason the Republican candidate was John McCain instead of a real conservative.

Agreed.

Besides, I'm not going to do Glenn a favor and upload his stupid video until he apologizes for calling Ron Paul supporters terrorists.

Oh, hello. You must be new here and missed the Faux News last year. Allow me to alleviate confusion an give you a hint from my "duh" machine.

*Turns on machine and grabs the Duh slip that pops out*

It reads: "Well fucking duh. It must because they shafted Ron Paul when he was talking about this exact problem and threat. Makes sense for a Ron Paul forum to hate the exact news organization that fixed the election against Ron Paul and his supporters by keeping him from the New Hampshire debate which was a strategic focus for the presidential campaign."

I thought Fox recognized this as well. And the NHGOP had every right to do what it did. I'm not saying what fox did was right in the moral or personal sense but they didn't do anything unethical. Just lame maybe.

Just don't wonder why we are up in arms with the organization. Literally.

lemme guess, next you'll call me a banker, a member of the illuminati, a fed or even Frank Luntz himself

Nice story he posted on digg about Ron Paul meeting with neo-nazi's by silverlinkx: http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Ron_Paul_meets_regularly_with_white_supremacists_neo_nazis

This freak is a total psychopath of coercion.
He can't get his rocks off if he isn't pushing a government into force against his neighbors.

When it comes time to water that tree... you will be one of those drops.

Surely you can't be talking about the same libertarian/Fox fan  posting as silverlinkx2 in this thread and a few others as well?

Thanks Torch, you just confirmed my suspicions. Lowest of the low.

SOB was banned. If a day comes when America ceases to exist as a free country and his own children are starving I hope the f*cker takes a moment to pat himself on the back for helping the fascists achieve their goals.
