With the help of Trump, who isn’t very popular in British colony Canada, Canadians will vote for just about anybody that seems anti-Trump, which could make Carney PM (with his opponent Pierre Poilievre seen as Trump-lite)…

I cannot imagine that many MAGA red hatters are happy that Mark Carney has actually won the Canadian election, while before Trump became president, insulting Canadians by calling their British colony the 51st US state, Trudeau’s Liberal party was expected to lose dramatically.

The Trumpster (in his interview with Jeffrey Goldberg!) has actually bragged about how his comments made Carney’s party win:

They won without a real majority so its purely a symbolic declaration of victory.

It's a real "mission accomplished" banner on a ship sort of a deal.

I don't think they will have the power to continue the policies that were so unpopular under Trudeau.
