Forget the CROWD. Seriously...

Look, it is specifically because of his style of speaking that I WOKE UP from my Neocon ways. Essentially, I had to stop, rewind, play over again, each of his answers to understand what he was getting at. It forced me to research, it forced me to stop relying on FOX news as the soul provider of info for my political decisions. ONCE I researched, it was a no-brainer. This was a great debate! This was great FOR Ron Paul! We got GOLDEN RULE trending on twitter! This is exactly how Dr. Paul continues to wake us all up.

The problem is not everyone is going to wake up, and understand the truth. We're in this race, and we need to realize not everyone is like us.

We need to clear our position so other people understand, and can come join us.

He was stuttering, losing his train of thought... he gave long, sometimes barely coherent answers. It was just not a good night, by his own standards.

He mentioned marque and reprisal in his bin Laden answer, but did not take 5 seconds to explain what marque and reprisal is. 90% of that audience does not know what marque and reprisal is, so it was a mistake.

Okay, this was my take on it. Pretty much sums up why people are feeling so badly.

Whether the audience was a bunch of idiots or not, Ron could have done better and been more precise in his speaking.

The Big Loser Tonight Was the Republican Party!!! They are scared to death that the Ron Paul Supporters will not vote for the Republican Nominee if it is not Ron Paul.

Guess What ???? After tonight's performance by Romney, Gingrich, Santorum and Perry on foreign policy and how War Loving they really are, I cannot believe in my heart that any true Ron Paul Supporter would even contemplate supporting any of these Neo-Cons for President.

I believe that over 90% of the Ron Paul Supporters will leave the Republican Party in August if the Nominee is not Ron Paul.

The Republican Party really is the BIG LOSER tonight!!

The GOP did not learn from 08 that they have a huge image problem in general elections. This crowd did not help that image at all. While I did hope that Dr. Paul would have been more prepared/rested for this debate given the time off, but I think in the long run more damage was done to the GOP establishment image. The only reason they retook the house in 10 was the tea party movement which seems to have shrivled up and died, it wasn't because of establishment posistions.

You're right. Not everyone is. But we'll add numbers because of tonight. I wasn't like us, either :D Your second sentence is DEAD ON! It is WE who need to clarify our position. It has always been about us. It has never been about Dr. Paul, and he would be the first one to tell you that. LIBERTY is what is on trial here. Study up!

It doesn't matter if the GOP wins or loses.. The point is if we don't start making the impression we're not going to get the nomination, and we're going to lose the chance to take back America to what it is supposed to be.

I'm not a troll, I really want to freaking win this.. Because America needs change now. But we need to find a way to send our message in a more clear, concise way.

You're absolutely right. Tonight was a night where the average person would be scratching their heads and bewildered by why he was trying to say. When he is nailing it, he is hitting it out of the park. Unfortunately tonight wasn't one of those nights.

Hell, Newt was booed Saturday at Huckabee's forum.

It happens but it happens when you're willing to tell people what they don't want to hear. Some people actually respect that.

The trending for Golden Rule on twitter is exploding in a positive way for us. Even the pundits are tying the hypocrisy of being Christian and booing the Golden Rule. This will go in our favor!

Voters and the media base their perception off of audience reaction. It's sad and unfortunate and pathetic, but it's psychology. The crowd sucked, and it hurt us.

Yep, Americans aren't the brightest and just want to go along with the crowd.

FFS, these people booed the golden rule. THE GOLDEN RULE!!!

I'm sorry, but either Fox was screwing with the audio or these people are just a bunch of sadists. After that, who cares what they were cheering or booing.

FORGET the crowd! It doesn't matter about the crowd, or the media. We're trying to talk about the national audience, sitting at home trying to make a decision on who to vote for when their primaries come up..

Some people may have loved it, and others may hate it. The point is we don't have a choice but to respect their decision, but to the normal people who watch these debates know Ron Paul has something good to say -- but he needs to start saying it in a different way that is appealing to them. Keep talking about brining the troops home, staying out of nation buildings. MAYBE TALK ABOUT THE FORMER CIA ENDORSEMENT.

But most of all, we need to start releasing the truth so people understand. We need to encourage the campaign to maybe release an ad on foreign policy.. Because it's KILLING us.

If the crowd didn't matter then sitcoms wouldn't have laugh tracks. Don't be naive.

If anything, the booing helped. People love an underdog and tonight that was underdog was Ron Paul.
