NOTE C4L is saying if you arrive Friday you MUST get your registration by 10 a.m. Friday - No Exceptions

Individuals may pick up their registration badges at Campaign for Liberty's booth in the Exhibition Hall. Remember that on Friday, registration badges will only be distributed between 8am and 10am. (No exceptions)

VOTE BY 10 a.m. too, Friday.

CPAC says you can register or vote all day until 8 p.m. however Campaign for Liberty is only handing out the badges you are buying until 10 a.m. , and says voting has closed earlier Friday in the past

I asked CPAC when you could VOTE Friday and got this:

Voting is open all day on Friday. Thanks for your interest in CPAC 2011!

However, others who attended last year said voting was actually only open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., so were it me, I'd vote early on Friday, so you can forget about it and not worry.

At the SRLC Ron lost to Mittens by only one vote, and we had people on site who weren't able to register and vote because they came too late. We don't want that to happen again!

Thanks for this post, apparently I will only be able to attend Friday and Saturday, as I will be in session Thursday from noon until 8PM. I will probably head straight to DC from close of session, with a pit stop by home (on the way) to pick up some luggage etc. That will put me arriving at the hotel something like 3-4AM. So I should be there to vote early on Friday.

so if you only go on friday, you can vote?

Edit: is the schedule for friday posted anywhere?

There are two different schedules, the C4L schedule and the CPAC schedule. As far as the official CPAC event goes, Ron is speaking Friday, and Rand is speaking Thursday. There is also a special event Thursday evening where Ron and Rand both will be speaking about liberty. SOMETHING they are doing is priced separately, and I'm not sure if that event is it.

I will find that stuff eventually and paste it here, though.

Considering driving up there with my girlfriend Friday morning just to vote....wish I could get some of those $11 tickets.

Thanks, any info you find please post.
There is no way I could go for more than friday, but I could probably swing a friday appearance.

Here is the C4L schedule: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/event/cpac2011.php

Brandon, are you a student? If so try the YAL. You need an ID to use those. Someone on here bought one and now can't use it, as well.

Also, if it is a hardship to get the tickets and you would drive yourself, you might put in a chip in. That sounds like two pretty cost effective votes (unless your girlfriend is a Romney fan or something...) Chip ins have been filling up. Just post it in the CPAC subsection where this thread is, and put a link in your signature.

There is no way in hell I would trust that. If you are going to vote on Friday, do it between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. There is no need to delay.

I agree. Vote as early as possible. My concern was that there might not actually be voting on Friday AT ALL. I was concerned those who could only go Friday might get there to find the voting was over. If voting is slow, given staff will be busy, they certainly could decide to close up shop for a while, 'because something comes up and it is slow'.

Thanks, but I haven't been a student for 2 years now. I wouldn't feel right setting up a chip in. I could afford it on my own. I'd rather not spend the money, but it's not like I don't have it. If anyone knows of any way I can get tickets for cheaper than $89/each let me know.

They didn't check my student ID when I picked mine up last year... I picked my ticket up from the C4L booth.

Hey guys, I really would disregard the information here. I've been going to the conference for years and there are always rumors of the straw poll being extended, floating around. Last year on thursday people were saying voting would go on all day friday. It did not. It ended mid morning on Friday just like the five years prior. Something may change and they could alter the rules, however better safe than sorry. Do not go by this.

Use the times to pickup your tickets that are listed on the Campaign for Liberty CPAC Agenda page.

Steve, that is what I said, that they shouldnt rely on it being open late. However, there are several people who could ONLY go for Friday and the question was whether that was worth it at all. I did contact CPAC for the info; it wasn't a rumor. However, as you say there is no guarantee. The last time I checked C4L had only addressed registration on Thursday, though, and a bunch of people weren't going to CPAC at all, thinking they couldn't go for just Friday.

I updated the OP to reflect your better information, though.
