That's not exactly a fair or even accurate generalization. Sure, Obama's bad, but that's because he's an establishment hack, not 'cause he's a Democrat. Don't forget, we have allies on the Dem side like Kucinich, who wants to end the Fed, and Gravel who talks often and with great passion about dismantling the Military-Industrial Complex.

To generalize about either Party is destructive, harmful thinking that only plays into the hands of the elite, who want honest conservatives and honest liberals pitted against one-another, so that they won't see the true nature of the enemy.
Before I found out about Ron Paul, I thought Republicans were the de facto party of reactionaries, militarists, and theocrats. I have learned a lot about not judging a good man by the label he wears since then. This is, I believe, a crucial step for everybody in deprogramming the elite's "divide-and-conquer" tactics.

I am not voting for Obama...but I hope he finishes ahead of McCain...I don't have any other choice....I would prefer to put up with President Obama than President McCain.

They certainly have been out in force, you're right. They've been trying to divide us and get us arguing with them--both to keep us from progressing instead and to make it so casual observers think we're nuts. They've also been actively discouraging new members. Free speech is all well and good, but it sure is a lot of work minimizing their damage.

I wish we could label them trolls and restrict them to the non-public areas of the forum. That would discourage them.
