For those of you who like Obama

They certainly have been out in force, you're right. They've been trying to divide us and get us arguing with them--both to keep us from progressing instead and to make it so casual observers think we're nuts. They've also been actively discouraging new members. Free speech is all well and good, but it sure is a lot of work minimizing their damage.

I wish we could label them trolls and restrict them to the non-public areas of the forum. That would discourage them.

What I'd like, personally, is a troll-meter that I could click on to raise or lower their "troll factor". It would also be cool to click on a person's screenname and make notes. I think that this should only be visible to the person and the mods though, given than a troll could easily label non-trolls as such.

I think it'd be a good method to tell who's here for the right reasons and who is here to divide us. Personally, I'd like to remain civil and non-reactionary when possible.

I am tired of the "Barack is a statist socialist misleading pro-war big spending big taxing fraud" and then there is invariably a BUT at the end of all of those thuths.

Just leave out the BUT and stop typing.

Obama is our biggest hindrance.

It sucks, but he stole our thunder and the only way to get it back is for him to go down in flames.

If Obama doesn't win this time around, he is going to steal our thunder again.

The sheep need to see his change first hand, and even then they might be too stupid to see it for what it is.

Be careful what you wish for, we're trying to save America, not destroy it. The cataclysm that an Obama presidency would bring will shorten the amount of time we have to prepare and get our people in to change things from the bottom-up.

That's not exactly a fair or even accurate generalization. Sure, Obama's bad, but that's because he's an establishment hack, not 'cause he's a Democrat. Don't forget, we have allies on the Dem side like Kucinich, who wants to end the Fed, and Gravel who talks often and with great passion about dismantling the Military-Industrial Complex.

im sorry but democratic forms of government are not complete free societies.

this is supposed to be a republic, and republican ideology is what america was founded on.

sure there are uncurrupt democrats... but wanting more government involvement is kinda what we are against.

I certainly don't wish for it.

In my mind, the difference between Obama and McCain are null as they are both controlled. Perception is a bigger descriptor of their differences. It is this perception in peoples minds that we are fighting against.

Exactly what I am trying to say all along.

The democrats i.e. Obama/Clinton are simply just playing the usual politics game of pandering to the crowd. They are simply wasting time, delaying the suffering in iraq. McCain at least tells us he will surge them to hell. Get the war done with and come home. Slow painful death or quick death. You choose.

Obama's Global Poverty Act is enough to make any Ron Paul supporter question the idea of voting for him.

$845 billion over the next 13 years because the UN tells us we have to .

I saw the title of this thread and thought about this bill as well. Here's an article on it: http://www.gopusa.com/commentary/ckincaid/2008/ck_02131.shtml

Haven't read through the thread so forgive me if I'm being redundant but he's a globalist and this 'Poverty Act' bill proves it without a doubt. He's also a CFR member and we all know they have a globalist agenda. This guy is bad news.

Prepare for an Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama ticket. They will put us on a fast track to the NAU.

Occupation and war is different!

The democrats will also occupy iraq for 100 years! don't be naive. we are building our empire and iraq is the long missing piece.

Okay, so how is McCain better than Obama or Clinton? Clinton and Obama will go the status quo route, but will at least be pressured by their base to get out of Iraq and, hopefully, not to go into Iran, etc.

McCain is so freaking gung-ho to go into Iran that he'll get us embroiled in something that we will never get out of, and we won't have time or the capability to stop him because he's so freaking arrogant. Just like Bush, he'll trample all over us and our rights.

I hope the democrat lose the election. They are a bunch of jokers and crowd pandering duo. These two candidates are the most extreme leftist they gave us. Hillary will stuff the mandated healthcare (yeah! mandated taxpayer monies for lobbyists) down our throat where Obama with all the global poverty tax up our ass. When will these politicians realise that we should just mind our own business at home. Iraq war at least makes more sense than mandated healthcare and global poverty. At least we get to secure our precious oil. And don't bet on that Hill/Ob ticket. Obama despise that ticket and denounce it publicly. Well.. actually you would not want a Hill/Ob ticket. Seriously, McCain is better than Obama+Hillary.

McCain is the status quo man. Tell me how is nationwide mandated healthcare status quo? How is global poverty a national security? Building an empire has always been in our doctrine. Securing our oil in iraq is a national security issue. So McCain should be the status quo man.

But frankly, I do not care for any of them. But I can tell you McCain will win this election. Iraq war will be engineered for the GOP. The timing will be coordinated such that the Iraq situation improve tremendously during critical stages of the general election. Americans will want to win this war if there is a man who can deliver the victory. The MSM has portrayed McCain to be the man.

Ron Paul is right. We are cooked. But why he does not want to step up to the plate and run as indepedent candidate? Bugs me. Probably he is afraid of causing distress to GOP. Or should i say, political pandering.

Keeping it real.
