FOR LIBERTY Docum3ntary Is Finished!!! Whoooo!!!

Looks like we'll be going out to Phoenix in early December for Ernie Hancock's Freedom Summit 09. They want to do a theatrical screening Thursday night to kick off the weekend's events. The heart of the R3V, should be a good time!

Quoting: Kathy Strate :

“ It changed my mind about Ron Paul - I feel cheated that I was led to believe he was a kook during the campaign. Republicans should stand up and take notice of how he was able to rally people under 40. I look at the monthly agenda of the Orange County Republican Party and just have to shake my head at the luncheons and library meetings. I came out of last year's election cycle wanting to be more involved and to just do something, so I joined the Tea Party movement. Now I wish I had taken a second look at Ron Paul's campaign. But Fox News totally marginalized him and I bought into it. Can we still make a difference in this government? I hope so....I am no longer going to take any media at face value, not even Fox News, which I am a big fan of, and I am not going to toe the Party line. Maybe I am a Libertarian or am I just an American? ”

I know larry lepard was talking about a desire to get the dvd's into libraries, I wonder if he'd be willing to front screening cost "special events" and through that- he could stand a chance of getting that money back, plus we get more of these 9/12 types to see this movie.

I was coming around to the same conclusion. The original motivation here is to get people to see the film, in most libraries the video would collect dust. I would love to host a screening here in my home town, if the costs are reasonable enough. We could even hand out free copies of the video after the showing or charge a modest fee to cover the cost. I'd like to get some hard numbers first to see if this is even feasible. With the proper promotion I think we could churn out a good crowd.

If Larry used the money he would have spent on libraries to fund screenings, that would be great.
The grassroots could do the job of getting people to show up, and selling DVDs after the showings.

Having books in libraries is a good idea, but not movies... Larry should pay for screenings!

I propose this to Larry: How about you fund the effort to get "End the Fed" into libraries and "For Liberty" screenings?

Tried to order. They don't do debit cards or online check??? So now I have to wait 3-5 for my money to transfer and into paypal. I then also need to cancel the order that was submitted to be paid as a check as I thought it was going to be Online. They really need to add some disclaimers to the site, and other payment options.

You have to choose PP and then you get those options. On the first PP page there is a link to pay via CC/Debit card. You don't need a PP account.

Thank you, I will try that. I also had a prompt reply from your emailing and apreciate that.

I still would recommend some type of wording on the site that lets you know the payment options better.
