For Jeff Flake fans...

bump..

the pretenders must be called out as early as possible.

I think most of here already know he's not perfect.

I've seen people on here say he is the next Ron Paul, so we need facts. I will track this guy and post whatever comes up. I think we need to be very careful where our support is given. It's easy to talk the talk.....

Hmm, well I've never seen him called the next Ron Paul. Probably because it's an obvious fallacy. Flake never talks about monetary policy. That alone should be reason enough that he's not the next Ron Paul.

He obviously does not have a brain of his own to swallow the global warming crap.

Just a young political turk neo-con wanna be.

This is the kind of stuff we need to swarm them with phone calls!!!!!!!

Ouch. I at least thought he was a free market, fiscal conservative. It seems like Duncan from Tennessee is still the closest to Ron.

You guys know BJ Lawson entertained the idea of a carbon tax as an alternative to the income tax?

Just sayin, if we want to propose free market solutions, we actually have to come up with solutions. Carbon emissions aren't going to go down on their own, unless people start suing or governments start regulating.

He said that as a way to answer the question liberals asked him: "if you get rid of the IRS, what will pay for government?"

The global warming crowd will have to start putting their money where their mouth is (I know most don't do this already). If they want lower emissions they'll have to buy more hybrids, invest in clean energy companies, put up their own wind towers and solar panels, and educate the public themselves. It's not a role of government to affect environmental change. Environmentalists get the government to force us to be green because they can't convince us themselves that it's a good idea. They don't need to be a majority either, they just need to be a special interest group for politicians to pander to.

facepalm! Why do you assume that carbon emissions are bad? Trees and plants need it to live! :D Furthermore, why do you think that humans are the only parties responsible for creating carbon-and are thus responsible for "cleaning it up"? Nature produces plenty of CO2, ya know! ;)

Also, C02 only exists at about 380 ppm (parts per million), in our atmosphere. There are points in our earths history where C02 was at levels exceeding 4000ppm, and we still had a very active ecosystem full of life, on this earth.

Did you know that many farmers operate machines which produce CO2 in their greenhouses to encourage plant growth?

This excess C02 stuff is such nonsense, and a good chunk of people in Weather and Science careers, agree.

If the government was a person shouldn't they be locked up for their own protection to stop them from doing things like this to themselves?

It looks like even Jones voted in favor.

Wow I missed that. Although a lot of people consider Afghanistan a legitimate war Walter Jones voting for it is still surprising. Jones is was always less trustworthy to me ... i.e. "Freedom Fries" et al

And I would chastise him for it if I spoke with him.

I don't want to reduce carbon emissions.

Remember the Flake-Guitierez bill? This guy is just more new world order trash. I wish he'd get ousted just like neocon traitor Chris Cannon.
