There is no drought in the ocean. We might learn to take a lesson from the Japanese and learn to eat more sushi.
Except when there are no fish. Overfishing has depleted many fishing stocks around the world. You'd be better off eating kelp.
well, they are in the process of slaughtering a bunch of cattle to prop up milk prices. It's in the "stimulus" bill.
MMM...Kelp! I keep wanting to buy a book that shows all the edible plants in N. America.
In the coming years, that might be a better investment than gold. I urge everyone to go to Amazon.com (or wherever) and get a several different books on the subject.
Agriculture or Kelp? Im all for Kelp.
Seed bank for liberty!
are you sh*ing me? Did anyone not hear about the mandates like that in the Great Depression? does anyone read history???
yeah, I read history. Unfortunately, my high school history text book told me that burning all those crops and killing all that livestock was good for the economy.

source?
Edit:
nevermind I found a source http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090216/ap_on_re_us/farm_scene_cow_slaughter
And yet milk costs the same as it did at the height of the commodities boom (phase 1 anyways) at my grocery store.
Plenty of SOYLENT GREEN for everyone in the future!

there is a local dairy farm near me that's about 80 years old. They sell Milk at less than half the price they do in the supermarkets. They don't seem to have any problem posting a profit. This is all nonsense. They are going to slaughter all these cattle, and then flood the beef market as a result. You'll see the price of beef get smashed down and then they'll be talking about a bailout for meat companies. And what will their solution be to prop up beef prices? You guessed it, slaughter more cattle, only this time, they'll throw it out.
