To ignore these realities is to be willfully ignorant.
On top of the False statements made, there were also contradictory statements made.

One deputy
4 deputies
11 officers
No semi-autos

They are frickin' lying

I have seen that video and do not consider it proof that the Chronicle Telegram is not privately owned by the Hudnutt family of Lorain County, OH.

Being a local resident, I am concerned with the way this issue at Manna Storehouse was handled. I have addressed my concerns with public officials and will continue to closely follow the progress.

So does that mean they just have fully automatic weapons and they just forgot about the one in the picture?

What a bunch of B.S. Someone should have called them out on that quote.

Is anyone noticing the all of a sudden silence of the coop owners? They said they would update but STILL nothing. Interesting.

This really smacks of problems WITHIN the coop membership. A member might not have been happy with something and called the county to complain and the owners are taking it out on those that may have acted on the complaint.

If they were only selling to members (huge coop apparently), the problems arise on the inside.

They may be quiet at this time on the advice of their lawyer.
It looks ( from the letter) that They are accused of something they claim they are NOT doing. That is running a retail business.
It seems that the letter was in response to an underhanded attempt at entrapment.

It is yet to be seen if they will be charged with anything. The warrant seems more a fishing expedition than anything else. And the authorities have admitted that there were no complaints.
It seems that they are bucking the corporate system.
There have been several raids of small farmers. A quick search shows up many. The NWO folks want full control over the food supply.

Updates from today's newspapers.

Couple sue over raid on organic food co-op

A LaGrange couple who own an organic food cooperative and are accused of operating an unlicensed retail food business have filed suit against the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Lorain County General Health District and the Ohio attorney general’s office.

Manna Storehouse wants county to return $10,000 in seized food

The food co-op searched by the county earlier this month asked the Lorain County Common Pleas Court today to block any more interference with the business.

The Manna Storehouse and owners John and Jacqueline Stowers asked the court to declare the entire Dec. 1 search unconstitutional and to order the county to return more than $10,000 in seized food.

People who said they personally knew these people on various blogs said they were Amish. They're not Amish.

It sounds like they were coached by a lawyer. And I read in the article about the lawsuit that the biggest part of the headlines, that there was a SWAT team involved were untrue. This does not help the credibiity of the rest of the story.

Capt. Richard Resendez of the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office previously denied online reports of a SWAT team being part of the search of the Stowers’ property, and guns being held to the family’s heads.

While agreeing with those statements, Thompson maintained that “SWAT-like tactics were employed,” including guns being drawn by “specific police officers, who forced their way into the family’s house” and proceeded to confine the family “to one room, where they were required to stay for six hours while the entire house was combed over,” he said.

The lead member of the entry team was in SWAT style clothing because it is his duty uniform. He is a member of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. To the average American this would appear to be an entry by a SWAT team. The emotional ramifications, especially to the children would be similar.

We will find out more as the story unfolds in court.

I got an email from Katie today - here is the email:

Subject: update on Manna Storehouse

Hi everyone. We are happy to announce that you can now follow our case through our attorney's website: www.buckeyeinstitute.org . The press statement can be seen directly at: http://www.buckeyeinstitute.org/article/1284
We are unable to personally answer questions about the case or do interviews at this time, so please direct those types of questions to our lawyer, who is doing that for us. His contact information:

Maurice Thompson

We would also encourage people to write letters, especially to the Governor of Ohio, the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Lorain County Health Department.

We have had people inquire about making a donation to our legal fund. We would encourage anyone wanting to make a donation for that purpose to make it to the Buckeye Institute. The following is from their website:

"The Buckeye Institute is an independent research and education group. As such, we do not perform contract work or accept government grants. To maintain the highest degree of intellectual integrity, we need the support of the people whose lives we're seeking to improve through sound public policy. We thank you in advance for your support. "

Jackie would also request that anyone who has a similar story to share (government abuse), please mail or email it to us!

Thank you again to everyone for your encouragement and support!

I tell you, if every time something like this happens, a government official dies, it wouldn't happen. Attrition is a bitch.

To get the true background and mission of Codex Alimentarius, go to www.healthfreedomusa.com.

For updates on food safety issues in Washington, go to the Center for Food Safety at www.truefoodnow.org.

One thing we can all do if the FDA won't require labeling of our food (and there's a 65% chance you are buying food with genetically engineered ingredients if you shop in a regular grocery store), is demand all grocery store chains keep a list of their products that are irradiated, or have GMOs in them. www.truefoodnow.org has a safe food shopping list. If stores don't keep a more detailed list, they should at least have this on hand. Check it out.
