Wow. I've only know about this stuff since I read Confessions of An Economic Hitman by John Perkins. I don't deal with this because EVERYONE I have ever dealt with is Mexican. What do I know? I only grew up in boxing gyms being one of the only white guys. At work I constantly hear coworkers blast their music stuff like Los Tigres del Norte and Wisel y Yandel (yeah I know they're Puerto Rican). I actual talk to people and try to learn stuff. They also teach me Spanish. I guess what actual immigrants tell me means nothing in terms of why people move here. I better start reading wiki articles to set me straight.
