Florida & Texas ship migrant invaders to Martha's Vineyard

A real conservative says, just don't do it at all.

Admittedly, those who say the federal government does have a role to play at the border may well have a point. At least, it's arguable. But this pattern pops up far, far beyond the border, or any other place a true believer in the Ninth and Tenth Amendments would say D.C. has a role to play.

No wonder American Conservatism conserves nothing.

Ron Paul said it to me in person in 2007, in NH: "I support bringing the troops home and doing their duty protecting our border".

He campaigned on that position in 2008 and 2012.

I supported him, in part, because of that position.

I've maintained all along that this is an invasion, well planned, well funded and well executed by our enemies, foreign and domestic.

It is an invasion using 5th Gen warfare tactics, using bodies instead of bullets and bombs.

The constitution clearly states it is the duty of the fedgov to protect the states from invasion, Article IV Section 4.

It is one of the few limited responsibilities the fedgov has, and it is failing miserably, on purpose.

If they did their duty and stopped it AT the border, there would be no need for a "Constitution Free Zone" 100 miles away from the border.

I remember. I hear you.

But you must admit, there's a lot that the government does it really ought not do, and a lot of self-styled "conservatives" who ought to say, "Stop," but instead say, "Where's mine?"

I just wanted to re-state it for the record.

And of course, you're right, I try to avoid falling into that trap...sometimes I fail.

Amen.

Again, I'd chip in my own money to make that happen.

Hope you have a lot to give, cause I ain't blowing my own money on even more reckless spending ;-)

I remember when Trump convinced "conservatives" that endless spending was good, as long it was done by an R and not a D. Next phase: make FEMA the next thing to become accepted and the "new norm". Riiiiight on, bro!

That was another guy with a third grade vocabulary and an R next to his name. You know. The one who gave it a home in the Ministry of Homeland Insecurity.

Heckofa job, Brownie!

Then there's this debacle:

It's true. He did. And Reagan campaigned on a promise to get rid of it, but conserved it instead.

I want to be a billionaire. Therefore I will donate $10 to Nancy Pelosi, who will in turn spend $100,000 on my charity. I will take $85,000 for myself, kickback $5,000 to Nancy, and spend the remaining $10,000 buying nearly expired generic cereal for migrants in need.

Got stuck with a CIA VP,, I blame Bush for the Reagan Administration.

I love this idea! I mean didn't the FEDS send Afghan refugees to the states to deal with?

Funny you should say thay that. I just got back from a motorcycle ride. I was cruising around Sioux City, IA. I cruised up to Grandview Park. I was driving around the park and I saw around four guys chilling in the grass. I knew they were Afghan immediately. One guy was wearing traditional Aghan clothing with a pakol hat. The other three guys were more chill. They were wearing jeans, t-shirts, with shemagh turban wraps as headgear. Okay whatever some guys chilling in the park no big deal. The only part that made it weird was on the tree right next to them they put up an Afghan Flag. I hung around the park a bit. When I left so did the Afghans. I saw them pull down their flag and one of them wrapped it around his shoulders and he left.

Maybe I'm weird, but if I was a refugee to another country. I wouldn't go to a city park and fly an american flag. I would also dress like the locals and try to draw as little attention to myself as possible.

The crazy thing is I was wearing my motorcycle helmet with my GoPro. I was tempted to drive up to them and film them, but then I was like no. I don't want to treat them like animals at the zoo.

As far as them being operatives. I don't know and I'm not worried about it. I'm more concerned with overweight, basement dwelling, low IQ white nationalist because they are the biggest threat that the republic has ever faced.

Very low IQ, idiots, morons, misguided, self-identify as wanna-be bullies, troubled... but the biggest threat? I really haven't thought about that. The biggest threat that I see is that people in general are becoming lazier and stoopider with every passing year, relying more and more govt to solve their problems for them, at huge expense in terms of both money and freedom.

Helmet and go-pro... I take it you ride a crotch-rocket? Cool if you do, but nothing like an Injun on interstates playing Zepplin and Van Halen ;-)

I finally found out what really happened in Martha's Vineyard.
Stephen Colbert's video: "DeSantis owns libs by making them look compassionate."

Reading the comments to the video was eye opening. So many enlightened people who are extremely intelligent. They were all pretty much saying the same things. All the haters will say they are virtue signaling. I disagree all of you are just terrible human beings and you live in a right wing echo chamber. The true pulse of the people is in the youtube comments section on a Stephen Colbert video.

Yup, when I want honest journalism, Stephen Colbert is one of the few places I can turn to

It'll be interesting to see who else gets sued once this precedent gets set.
