Has any one joined the Mark Levin forum? If so, how long did it take for the verification e-mail?

I just cant believe we just shutdown a nationally syndicated radio show!

Let's not get too full of ourselves. We didn't shut down anything. We just made it very difficult and irritating for them. The long stretches of patriotic music are a common occurrence. Of course, it may very well have been used as a convenient excuse for them to regroup and get their shit together.

Let's just see what happens in the next couple of days before we go claiming we've slain Goliath. We had fun and that's enough for now.

I've posted some thoughts about the Mark Levin situation on another forum and in Digg comments - I don't think we should do anything to set them neo-cons on the war path against us. Once we get them emotional about trying to squash us, any hope of winning their hearts and minds will be lost.

They can't hurt us by jumping up and down and yelling "Ron Paul Can't Win" - doing so will only make them look foolish, scared, and desperate. No Ron Paul supporters I know would vote for the neo-cons ever again, while thousands of neo-cons come over to the side of freedom every day. We need to welcome them with open arms!

We should stand our ground and justify our convictions through reason, not mud-slinging! (Or at least save the mud-slinging for them brain-dead commies who think all property is theft.) The neo-con talk radio machine can be turned to our advantage. We just have to be firm but humble, calm, and reasonable. If we do that, they can't screen us out forever!

The purpose is to win over his listeners not taunt them.

I think we should debate him with Ron Paul's positions rather than just trying to get "Ron Paul" uttered on air.

I don't like someone like Lavin, with the amount of sway he has over his listeners, telling his listeners to do something specific, that undermines my effort. Fuck Him. We should do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to make him change his toon, or at least, shut the fuck up, and answer our questions and listen to our comments.

Whew just went thru this thread. I say watch out for blow back, there are ways to shut this board down with a reverse attacked.

If people are going to call Mark, make it random like once a week , they will be on edge all the time. Or just do it when he says something inaccurate about Ron or us. Then maybe he just won't do it anymore. IMO

There are ways, but unless he has the contacts and cash to rent a black hat's or spammer's bot net for a few hours, his options are so severely limited its just about impossible.

He's relying on human screeners and a finite amount of phone lines, this forum relies on a TCP/IP stack running on what seems to be pretty decent hardware considering the response Vs the load.

If he has 6 "screeners":

The show can take 6 connections at once.
This forum can take 32,256 (give or take) connections at once.
The show spends more than 1 minute per connection.
The forum spends less than 1 second per connection.

He would need literally thousands of people sitting at a computer hitting F5 over and over again to even spike the load on the server this forum is hosted on.

My vote is don't stoop to his level. Ignore him. If he was big enough to make a real impact on the campaign, I might reconsider. But he is a nothing. It is not worth the fight, and has the potential to keep on escalating on both sides....

I think he gets his information from the MSM as well, maybe he is just ignorant of the RP message. I dont think enlightening him as to the his real support is wrong.
