Flood Mark Levin Show w/pro Ron Paul calls

A little off topic, but did you know that Sean Hannity is actively fundraising for Rudy Giuliani?

I think these "commentators" need to be put back in their proper place.

I've found that it DOES NOT work to get an otherwise conservative war-supporter on Ron Paul's side by jumping right in and hitting hard on the war. I have friends who like to think of themselves as conservative, even libertarian, and I try to win them over to Ron Paul's side by telling them how he has never voted for an unconstitutional bill, a tax increase or a gun restriction. I tell them how he is entirely opposed to amnesty and wants to end birthright citizenship. How he wants us out of the UN. Etc, etc. I almost never bring up the war with conservatives.

If you're going to bring up the war, you won't get neo-cons to question their beliefs by talking about constitutionality (let's face it, they don't care).

Instead, take this approach:

"Do you think its a good idea we are passing authorizations for foreign wars that cite as their objective the enforcement of UN resolutions? Should our fine military be made into an enforcement arm of the U.N.?"

This has worked very well for me. I had a local neo-con talk show host here in SLC stop dead in his tracks and say "that's a really good point". Then just encourage them to go read the actual authorization and see what it says. Then they will come around to the constitutionality arguments later because the language clearly says "as he deems necessary" etc. giving the President unconstitutional discretion to decide war.

All good points...all good ideas. I can see the pros and cons. As one who has participated in years of political volunteerism, as well as attending state conventions, I can see and normally suscribe to the high road. Time and place for everything.

On the other hand, political wranglings are never expected to be always nice and pleasant affairs.

I would say to all: "Do the things which truly interest you, as those are indicative of where you are most likely to be effective " Persue your passion in lending efforts to the cause. They are many.

I already have a better plan in relation to our Mr Levin, through my own media contacts.

I don't think its a good idea to call in to his show specifically about his campaign to get his listeners to call Ron Paul.

Call, but don't get dragged into that. Just call and say why you support Dr. Paul. It will show his listeners how "for real" Ron Paul's support is.

Maybe someone could mention that Ron Paul won a couple of straw polls this week by landslides?

Also, today on my way to work, Iwas listening to Laura Ingraham (the Iowa Straw poll emcee), and she had Jerome (?) Corsi on. She was asking him if this North American Union and SPP stuff was for real. He made a very strong case for its being for real, and she is very anti-illegal immigrants. I'm thinking it's possible that Mr. Corsi has enlightened the lady, and she might actually start to put 2 and 2 together and understand part of the reasoning behind Ron Paul's incredible support.

One can only hope. But wouldn't it be nice to have a PRO-Ron Paul talk show host for a change?

I say Levin is fair game until he removes his call to arms against RP from his website. Lying when calling isn't necessary, but calling and letting his screeners know we are here isn't unethical or counterproductive. I don't see how it can hurt our cause when Levin already hates us and has asked his fans to call RP's campaign office...what's Levin going to do next, ask his listeners to start throwing molotov cocktails at us?

because WE will be the ones made to look bad by all this crap, not this radio guy. they cant get the Dr into a "dean" moment, but they sure as hell can get his supporters to. lay off the guy and call the sponsers, seriously.

Then by all means, don't do it.

I think we can waste too much time critiquing the efforts of others. Just don't do it; and find something, anything to do which agrees with your concerns.

That would be huge. Jerome Corsi has been doing yeoman's work for some time on exposing sovereignty issues, the SPP/NAU. He is definitely a "movement" guy in exposing Bush globalist treachery. If she starts understanding how illegal immigration is part of a broader threat to our sovereignty, the "invade the world/invite the world" philosophy, then RP is a natural.

Me, I wouldn't write any of these people off, ultimately, lots of them are smart, ambitious people, nobody like ending up as somebody's stooge. Maybe Ms. Ingraham (who I really don't think hates RP as much as she just has lame-o humor) would wake up and be RP person. But it won't happen by vilifying her. Well maybe it would, but seems like the odds are lower.

Yeah, someone called in and talked about the 2nd amendment for a bit and then he wished his friend RONALD happy birthday!!!

Did Levin catch on?

Or do I have to call and wish "Paul" a happy birthday? Or "Ronald Paul":)

I don't know if he caught on. I think you should call and wish Paul a happy birthday!

Yeah, I was Bill in Louisiana today. Tomorrow I'll be Dave in Alabama or maybe Stuart in Tennessee.....although I'm originally from Iowa, I've been in Texas too long to do a yankee voice with conviction. Well, hopefully I won't have to b/c I can't get in b/c it will be y'all GETTING THE CHAMPION OF THE CONSTITUTION IN THE WHITE HOUSE AS NUMBER 44 VIA EVERY RADIO MEDIA OUTLET ON AM/FM/XM/NET/AND SHORT WAVE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, RIGHT?

RIGHT?!?! Y'all want this honorable man as 44th president, I want this honorable man as 44th president. Please get on the airwaves EVERYWHERE and execute your GOD GIVEN FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been a real hoot if I could have gotten him and myself to sing together:

"Happy Birthday to Ronald.......

Happy BIRTHDAY to RON......

HAPPY BIIIIRRRRRTHDAAAY to DR. RON PAUL.....

happy birthday to you sir!"

Maybe next year.

Btw, during the 7 second delay (as soon as you hear the cut-off) he asked who this Ronald was, so I told him "he's the CHAMPION OF THE CONSTITUTION SIR." Then he said "alright, alright, I get it" and played that computerized flatuating noise.

Well, get busy y'all,

Look, I want others to join me in the arena, the key to this battle is visibility, name recognition, and awareness of Dr. Ron Paul's good name. Once these are knocked down one by one, Ron Paul sells himself...THIS IS A REAL MAN THAT WALKS HIS TALK.

Now, please, for the sake of liberty, get on the radio airwaves, syndicated airwaves and get the message OUT THERE!

I think we should kick our Levin calls up a notch. Exercise our right to freedom of speech.

I got your back buddy, after your call. He'll be talking to me.....be subtle, very subtle. Telling the screener that you plan to talk about Paul will get you a dial tone. Just work Paul in a very subtle way into the conversation....questions are good, so are limericks, jokes, references, nicknames, etc.

Be creative, but for God's sake get on the airwaves. Thanks bro!
