Hi guys,

I've recently discovered Dr. Paul, he sparked my interest, and I want to cast a vote for him.

Problem is: I've never voted before in my life. I don't know the procedures or anything.

Can someone guide me through this. Is it too late to register, and if not - how do I register?

BTW: I live in Los Angeles, CA

Thanks.:D

You need it POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN Jan 22. On Tuesday goto your post office and fill out a voter registration card and you have to pick republican if you want to vote for Ron Paul.

Welcome! Nice to have another on board :) I'd suggest checking out the California section of the board:

They can probably help you the best :)

There are a few sites that explain it or point to the information online. Here's one: http://RegisterMe2008.com

For Cali: http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/

From the Cali site:

If mailed in, you need to have your registration POSTMARKED by TUESDAY the 22nd.

[FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial]You can click on the National Voter Registration Form, available in both English and Spanish and
download and print the form from your home computer.

Complete the form and mail it to your county elections official http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_d.htm .

Remember, however, that the form must be postmarked by January 22, 2008,
in order for you to be registered and eligible to vote in February's Presidential Primary election.

the 22 is your last day to register so go down to you local registration office and register on tuesday.

btw try to get friends to register as well...

It's too late for the primary since it has to be in by Jan 22. I'm pretty sure that is correct. On Monday goto your post office and fill out a voter registration card and you have to pick republican if you want to vote for Ron Paul. Maybe they could get it in time for you. Might as well try. They will mail you a card letting you know further information.

It is NOT too late. As mentioned above, it needs to be POSTMARKED by TUESDAY the 22nd.

I imagine the post office will be closed on Monday the 21st because of the MLK hoilday.

There may be a place to register in person. You can do it in North Carolina at a Library.

Call the numbers posted above for help if you need.

My apologies, I understood it wrong. Although it is still essential to get it done!!!

Thanks for the help, Mark and others. Hopefully if all goes well I can get a registration form postmarked by the 22nd.
