First CNN Exit Poll New Hampshire

How do you go in undecided? I mean, you're gonna make your final decision in 5 minutes while you're waiting in line? Who does that?
I don't understand these people. You've had months to research the candidates, watch debates, etc to decide, if you haven't decided by now do us all a favor and just stay home.

I'll say this now to let it sink in: POLL TAX!

It is a voluntary tax and could be non-trivial to help fund the govnerment. Reduce the influence of people who

a) don't care
b) don't research the candidates
c) make superficial choices
d) don't pay taxes

I don't care about the negative history of the tax, if it applies to all equally, it should be legit. I would start it at $100.

No matter what happens Paul must stay in the race for all 50 states and get as many delegates as possible. It is very possible the rest of the contenders could collapse for unforeseeable reasons and we need to have as many delegates / bargaining chips as possible and force a brokered convention. If we can't Win it, we can at least do as much to change it as we can.

^^Thread winner^^

I read somewhere that RP is one of the only candidates that attracts new previously apathetic voters. Last general election 40% of the people eligible to vote did not.

I agree completely.

The young crowd bitches about the world all the time, they "occupy" things and complain about how the politics are so corrupt but when it comes a time to actually do something about it they sit at home playing video games or going on facebook.

Yeah, I've been running GOTV ads on facebook. apparently young people are voting this year in NH according to these exit polls

What does Huntsman have to do with Ketchup?

His dad invented the big mac clamshell styrofoam packaging, and the styrofoam egg cartons.

Styrofoam, not Ketchup.

Good idea, but for it to work it would have to start at one dollar. Eventually it will get up to 100 because we all know taxes never go down or away only up.

If I was a pessimistic person I would say they are setting the stage for more vote tampering.

LOL, did any of you really think we had a shot to win NH? Get real. We need second though. NH showed it's statist colors when it picked McCain TWICE so why anybody is surprised by the preliminary results is beyond me. Now, actual polling numbers can't be released until the polls in NH close and then that very moment CNN will declare Romney the winner and we'll see where RP ends up.

We DO still need as many as possible to watch the vote tallies come in for anomalies like vote total switches and junk like that.

Here's the crosstabs from the latest PPP poll:

Indy (37%): 26% for Romney, 24% Paul, 23% Huntsman
Dem (5%): 17% for Romney, 26% Paul, 27% Huntsman
GOP (59%): 42% for Romney, 14% Paul, 11% Huntsman

Romney really outperforming expectations, Paul and Huntsman doing a lot better too. Bad news for Newt & Santorum.

Looks like we will have a distant second, pretty close to Huntsman

....I don't think anyone thought Ron was gonna win.

We're disappointed because the numbers are pointing toward another disappointing 3rd and another win for the media.
