You don't get to vote if you don't pay the tax. It is voluntary in the sense that you can choose not to vote. (Or maybe I misunderstood your question.)

Agreed. New Hampshire was the perfect state for this ad. In other states it could backfire based on polling regarding social issues, but in most areas this ad is perfect.

No, I think you understood. I was under the impression that it was actually voluntary and not sort of a blackmail thing. I would be against that tax.

Punishing people for voting is not the way to go.

Because they have better things they can be doing and absolutely no one listens to RevPac releases unless they're already a Paul supporter. They can continue preaching to the choir or actually help secure Ron some votes.
