"Rand Paul has by far the strongest youth organization in Iowa and across the country and is busy organizing for the Iowa Caucuses.

How do we win the youth vote? Say hello to "The Iowa 10,000!" It's our goal to have 10,000 students show up at the Iowa Caucus for Rand!

It would shock the media and the establishment because students don’t show up in the polling data. They aren’t on the historical voter lists. And they don’t have landlines to answer telephone polls.

We are thrilled to tell you that we are halfway to our goal. We recently reached our 5,000th student pledge to attend the Iowa Caucus for Rand. And we believe we are well on our way to hitting the magic number 10,000. But we need your help.

The final step to our project is the Caucus Takeover Get-Out-The-Vote program here in Iowa. We will have hundreds of student leaders deploying from around the nation to sacrifice their time and talents to mobilize 10,000 college students.

We need to buy pizza, gasoline, membership tables, and other tools of recruitment to fund the entire "Caucus Takeover" project and ensure a victory for Rand Paul.

Recently, we reached 5,000 pledges for Students for Rand in Iowa and it’s only the beginning.

Recruiting the 10,000 students would give Rand an extra boost in the polls. It would be enough to make the difference in this campaign and truly shock the world.

They had 5k months ago. Seems like this message is old (I know I got it today too) They have 2k in Iowa State Alone. I feel confident that this message is supposed to motivate people to donate to get the 10 pledges. I think we have much closer to 10k.
