Final California Poll-- Rick Williams Among the Leaders for United States Senate

Results are here:

http://graphics.latimes.com/california-primary-june-5-2012/#/other_races

With 12.0% reporting:

Dianne Feinstein (D) 50.5%
Elizabeth Emken (R) 12.6%
Dan Hughes (R) 6.2%
Rick Williams (R) 3.4%
20 other candidates after that

Not bad for a 24-candidate race.

Ron Paul currently has 72,188 votes, good for 9.2% with 11.9% reporting. (Over 2x the 4% from 2008)
Rick Williams has 67,358 votes -- looks like pretty good pull from the Ron Paul crowd.

No one votes in primaries, essentially.
I mean that I thought it would be run as a runoff. Feinstein got 50.5%, but still has to run again in the general even tho all her opponents combined wouldnt beat her. Strange concept...

I just got off the phone with my dad and he told me that I convinced him and my mom to vote for Rick today! so there are 2 more!

that is because they got rid of the GOP primary / dem primary. Honestly, NO ONE votes in the primaries. Having no chance to even challenge in the general election would not have passed

So much that did. I wish this many users had been as excited about Thomas Massie, instead, despite the fact that he won.

Massie had a LOT of threads here, and graphics and videos.

I donated to him. No one here had a moneybomb or phone bomb for Rick.

I'm sorry Rick didn't get the votes to make the run off.
