This interesting little doc is basically testimony from DNC delegates about how Obama was pre-ordained nominee and his *campaign "cheated" to win the nomination. People were killed for trying to place Hillary's name into nomination to stop the coronation of Obama.

Gore was cheated, Hillary was cheated, Ron Paul supporters were cheated.

It is a dirty game and until it is fixed, we have NO more say in our elections than they do in Russia.

We may as well let Goldman Sachs appoint America's leader the same way they did for Greece and Italy.

+1 "the will of the people" can be amazingly subjective the system was put in place for a reason (or reasons) and I'm glad it's there (tho it could benefit with a wipe and reboot to factory settings ).

I used to think just the opposite but spending more and more time with the actual electoral process has educated me on my prior oversights.

I was in a few discussions with some Hillary supporters in 2008...Hillary's campaign failed to follow the rules in a couple of states (Florida was one, and I think Michigan was the other but not sure) so her delegates were not seated at the convention. They were not cheated.

Parallels for me are that Paul and Obama used the weight of the caucus process to their advantage. The difference is that Obama cheated to get delegates and we followed the rules to get delegates.

I believe in Michigan and Florida the primaries were before a certain date, so the DNC penalized them by stripping their delegates.

LOL they were running around putting Obama stickers on everyone at the caucuses. The older folks weren't fast enough to get away and got 3 or 4 stickers.

One difference from 2008, now we have better and more cameras.

How can this keep happening and people shake their fist and say "it won't happen next time". If we were looking for a trend I would think this country is corrupt to the core and we need to just opt out and work towards building up a new voluntary system. You can't fix this system it's rotten.

I think something else she got out of the deal was the push for health care reform; back then, when Obama started pushing for it out of nowhere, I was like WTF. it was the worst possible thing he could have done at the time, and in the end it turned out nothing like what she was pushing for the first time she was president.
