I didn't shift any blame. It's the UN and Marxist NGOs driving this. I have no idea who mean by "the Merkin people" or how you presume to speak this imaginary collective and claim to know what it thinks, agrees to and minds or doesn't mind.

I don't want a civil war, AF. Just, some of the things you say, repeatedly, and the "solutions" you have in mind don't sit well with me. I know your frustration and your heritage, but Moby Dick comes to mind. There are far simpler and cheaper solutions to embrace/preserve individual liberty.

Look at the state of this country. Furthermore, more eyes are on "elections" and "government do something!" than acting/promoting individual liberty.

And my take on you two is that you're ideologically driven, jerking off to Utopian fantasies with no regard for reality and the vast differences among people from different cultures and beliefs systems - never mind the economic considerations of a welfare state with open borders.

You use "individual liberty" like the woke use their own buzzwords and phrases, i.e., ideologically. What does is mean, to you? I'll take a wild guess and say people doing whatever they want, going wherever they want, as long as they don't harm another. Is that close?

Alright and that is ideology, which is fine but it lacks a practical dimension. For instance, say you have kids. Little ones. You take them to your local beach every weekend where everyone is respectful of everyone else. Suddenly, a bunch of fudge packers decide to take over that beach. It's public, after all. They start walking around nude and engage in sex acts out in the open, in front of everyone, including children. Would that be okay with you?
