Federal Reserve Policy Audit Legislation ‘Gutted,’ Paul Says

Who is active in that area? Do we have any sympathetic pissed off dems? I bet there's a ton who got bamboozled by hopeandchange

Watts only has $140,000 on hand. He isn't expecting serious opposition. we can catch him with his pants down.

We need to start with bombarding his office with phone calls, all of them. Each one of us should call ten+ times a day, just keep calling. Anybody that lives in the NC or DC area should be in front of Watts office.

This man is part of the bankers that are screwing us over. He is an enemy of freedom.

What I'm saying Brent is that all the money in the world ain't gonna help us bus in more votes than this guy.
Look at the map.
I'll donate but that map is as crooked as what this Rep did to our Bill.

If we have C4L guys in that area- we may have a shot at the GOTV.

I don't think we should waste resources on trying to oust him from office if his opponent is a neocon. There'd be no point to it.

Just found this news. My first thought: This calls for another presidential run by Ron Paul.

This is the face of our new enemy!!!

Shit now they are gonna say we're racist

Johnson's issues page:

High Taxes- People aren’t worried about paying a fair share of taxes, but when you pay 25 cents on every dollar you make, it adds up quickly, not to mention we have one of the highest corporate tax rate in the world at 35%. That does not attract business for our communities.

I would immediately once in office put legislation in that would cut taxes across the board. In order for us to be competitive in the world economy our corporate tax rate needs to be cut from 35% to 25% to be competitive in a global market.

This will attract companies to do business here, and hire Americans to go back to work. It’s simple, the more companies you have, the more tax revenue it will generate. Without these businesses we have no taxes to collect or any jobs for the community. I want to cut taxes for the people and the businesses that employ them. It's better to have four businesses giving 25% tax revenue because they were able to open that business due to lower taxes. Than to have one business giving 35% because it was large enough to stay in business.

Veterans- I will always look after the welfare of our veterans. Our veterans are the reason we have our freedoms that we enjoy today, and we owe it to them to make sure they receive the best care possible, and as a veteran myself I know how frustrating it can be when dealing with Veteran Affairs. I will work with the VA to make the system run smoother and efficiently.

Illegal Immigration- We need to close our borders. That’s the first thing. Second is that we need to deport anyone found here illegally after a five month amnesty. Anyone found here illegally after that period will forfeit any right to apply for any type of visa to come back to the U.S. If they are the parents of American children under the age of 21 then they must fill out immigration forms to apply for legal status.

I don't believe in splitting up any family and that's been the biggest issue when it comes to immigration reform. We can show compassion and uphold the laws of our country at the same time. Its just not fair to the people waiting to come here legally and it's time to finally tackle this issue and do the right thing on behalf of law abiding immigrants waiting to come here legally.

Border Security- We have to close our borders with a fence having only legal crossing points, before we can begin to fix illegal immigration. Not to mention the security risk of our country depends on knowing who is coming and going across the border. People have an argument about the cost but the savings it would provide in relation to the government programs that support people here illegally would pay for it over time. This would end up saving billions of dollars for the tax payer.

Government Waste- Any projects that I see that has anything to do with wasting money on ridiculous ideas will be put out to the media immediately to inform the public of the waste that’s going on. Example: 1 million dollar study on swine odor would be out in the open immediately. I will not stand by and watch representatives waste our money any longer. Our elected officials must be held accountable for waiting our money.

Individual Rights- The Constitution outlines individual rights within the Bill of Rights, and nobody should be without those rights except by due process of law. Meaning that once convicted of a crime that individual loses some rights because of incarceration or as convicted felon. An example being, the right to buy or own a firearm. Only then can individual rights be infringed on.

Economic Prosperity- This goes hand-in-hand with the importance of tax cuts. High taxes are the main reason we can’t attract more foreign companies to invest here, and other American companies to expand. That’s why so many companies that were here in our communities are gone. It made more sense for them to move out to be more profitable and to stay in business.

The main reason these companies are in business is the bottom line, and that’s to make money. There is no reason for any company to invest in our community because they lose most of their money in taxes. We have the facilities and the work force that is as good as any in the world here in our community for businesses to open their doors. The only problem is that they lose their bottom line in taxes, and it’s a lose-lose all around.

The government loses out on taxes that it could be getting, and we lose out on the jobs that are desperately needed here in our district, and the community looses out because if there are no jobs then no one will be spending their paychecks at our local stores. It starts at the top with the government and works its way down just like that. That's why you always hear some politicians talking about cutting taxes, because it's the most important item that businesses look at before they open their doors. If we want our economy to bounce back and be more robust we must cut taxes. I would also suspend the capital gains tax for two years to get investors back.

We also need to cut the size of government. Keep the programs that work and do away with the ones that don't. We can't continue with big government programs. If we keep going down the road we're on we'll have a bankrupt nation and a country that we wont recognize.

Education: I believe that our schools should strive beyond the minimum standard, and teachers should be rewarded for their student exceeding the 85 percentile on mandatory standardized test.

I believe any public school should be on the same level of education as any private school. Generally speaking kids from private school test higher on acceptance exams for college. Every child should have the same educational experience in public school as they have in private school. The last thing to be cut in any budget should be education. We owe it to the future of our country to give our children the best education possible across the board. Our children are our future, and an investment in them is an investment in our country.

The 2nd Amendment: I support the rights of our citizens to bear arms. I believe everyone has the right to defend themselves in the face of deadly force. I also believe people have the right to defend themselves in their own homes. We should have a federal concealed carry permit. Individual states shouldn't be allowed to infringe on law abiding citizens that pass a required background check the right to carry a concealed weapon for protection.

National Security: We must be on top of this issue every day and equip our men and women with the best equipment to protect us from those who would look to do harm to our country and people. Every department from our local police to the CIA. They must have the total support of our elected officials to do their job.

They should never have to second guess their decisions in the field once guidance has been given by our elected officials. Our lives depend on the decisions they must make in the field.

We must also keep our military well trained and well equipped and give them the support to do the job they volunteered to do and support their families that are left behind as their loved one goes into harms way on our behalf.

We must also coordinate with our friends for the common good of our nations. We can't defeat terrorist alone, it takes an international effort. We have to share information and coordinate jointly with our allies to ensure national security. National security reaches beyond our borders and we must not let politics get in the way of our safety.

Health Care: This has become a hot topic recently, but I believe it can be resolved without becoming a huge bureaucratic nightmare that cost trillions of dollars.

The first thing needed is to control cost by reforming the laws that let in frivolous lawsuits costing doctors hundreds of thousands of dollars in malpractice insurance. Let in competition. North Carolina only has twenty licensed health insurance companies according to the NC Board of Insurance. How can competition control cost when we only have twenty companies competing out of the over 1000 health insurance companies in the country.

Government should only provide services that the private sector or individuals can't. Insurance companies should not be allowed to drop anyone from coverage because they never told them they had acne as a kid when they are being treated for cancer. One has nothing to do with the other. Regulation of the health insurance industry should be more stringent to ensure this type of abuse isn't tolerated and is met with steep fines.

The one thing that government can help with that the private sector can't is the pre-existing condition. It's not fair to the insurance industry to be forced to insure a pre-existing condition. You wouldn't expect a car insurance company to fix a damaged car that you just bought.

As we all know that when we lose our jobs we can count on the unemployment insurance to help us out as we search for employment elsewhere. I propose we have the same type of protection when it comes to health care. This helps prevent any laps in coverage for families.

I would also propose that any person that can be shown after a budget counseling to be able to afford private health insurance be required to purchase that health insurance before applying for the governments pre-existing insurance.

This government insurance should be set up in a way that has guidelines to prevent abuse, and fraud. This system should only be available for people with pre-existing conditions from birth, and catastrophic illnesses. Catastrophic illness is defined as a life threatening, and debilitating condition that is beyond the financial ability of the individual to pay according to budget guidelines.

Any person applying for this benefit must show proper identification to include a birth certificate, state or federal identification card, and original social security card. Let's try not to complicate this issue with a big bureaucracy. Let's start simple to keep the cost of this program down.

Voter Fraud: We must take this issue seriously. After seeing the voter fraud scandals perpetrated by community organizations we need national standards that are as strict as getting a social security or identification card.

No one except the individual should be allowed to register to vote and they should provide proof of residence, social security card, proof of citizenship, and a state or federal ID. We have strict guidance in order to get a drivers license but anyone can sign a voter registration form and send it in with no verification.

During elections citizens must provide a state or federal ID along with their voter registration card before being permitted to vote. Common sense needs to be applied here. A strict national standard must be applied to ensure our elections are legitimate. This issue cuts to the heart of our democracy and should be treated with the standards it deserves.

I just called all three of his offices and left a message saying he sold out this country and the people he represents.
