Feb. 1: Fundraising Projections?

I don't have a good feeling about this. It has about half the pledges of the MLK-day money bomb, and the pledges it does have are for 51 dollars (as opposed to 100 dollars for the one on January 21, 2008.)

There just has not been enough promotion of this money bomb.

A lot depends on how much the average donation is. If people really sacrifice on the last chance to get money into the campaign before Super Tuesday. Notice 252 pledges of 500$ is almost 200,000$. We need people to make huge donations and hopefully max out their donations if possible considering this is your last chance to make an impact.

500k. 1mil if we are lucky.

That's my worry. It's looking like another "Rudy's reading list". That one had around 3,000 pledges, and this one is just at 4,000 as of now.

The five million before February 5th goal needs to be met, but it's looking like the official campaign finally bit off more than it could chew. Five million in like two weeks was just a little too ambitious.

I don't pledge. I donate. And I can guarantee that I'm not the only one. :)

~X~

I donate, but don't pledge. There are a lot of us. I just don't have the time to get to all the pledging sites. The most important thing is WHO DONATES! Let's have a little faith!:)

I am not signed up for any of the sites and plan on maxing out by donating 1100$ tommorow....

Ironically I can thank the fed rate cut for this extra money because I took a gamble and went long with a huge stakes on the GBP/USD right before the cut and watched it spike up..... Then shorted it on the way down..

The Forex markets kicks the US stocks markets ass in terms of hitting it big....:D

The pledges are spread out all over the place. I think there are 3 different sites promoting a money bomb tomorrow, Liberty08, the 51 site and the Faux News bomb.

The Nov. 5 and Dec 16. lists have been promoting the 1st as well.

51 years was implemented on very short notice. Subsequently, it hasn't had enough time to gain traction. So I expect maybe $1,000,000 dollars -- and this is being optimistic.

MLK was pledges for $10, not $100

look on rudys reading list we had 2,340 pledges and we cranked out 531,000$ approx
assuming the (pledge:cash earned) ratio stays the same we discover that each pledge equates to about $(531,000/2340)=226.9$ per pledge on average
given that the total subscribers to 51st anniversary bomb websites (for the 51$ Pledges) assuming no overlap of subscribers is about 4400 right now and will climb to approx 4700 at the current rapid last minute accelerate in pledge rates. the anniversary portion of the moneybomb will yield approx $1,067,000..given the likelihood that the meet up groups will add to this effect and the average donation will be higher that puts the range from $900,000-1,600,000 if ron sends out an urgent please donate all you can now email like huckabee has done on his front page for his competing moneybomb it would probably increase the feasible income expectancy range to 1.4 Million-2.8 Million and depending on how successful the subsidiary liberytax08 bomb is (it has over 150,000$ on pledges 300 pledges will likely multiply out to 750 such donations) so that has the possibility of making ron paul's moneybomb reach anywhere from 1.8 -3.2 Million
My best guess is 2.1 Million
I hope i have severely underestimated but if anything i am being optimistic

I'm hoping to see that first hour reach $1 Million and everything after is icing on the cake :D

Wouldn't it be something special if on their 51st Wedding Anniversary the final total was $5.1 Million :)

It'll be tough to get that due to the fact this wasn't promoted as much as the other BIG days, but miracles can happen. :D

All the ron paul chats have been empty and there isnt that much advertising for it. I dont think we will get that much tom.
