I just got a Veggetti the other day and used it for the first time to make veggetti and meatballs. I. LOVE. VEGGETTI.

It worked perfectly. Anyone have any other Veggetti ideas besides zucchini??? :)

What are your favorite kitchen gadgets?

I don't use kitchen gadgets. Knives and cutting boards.

I'm trying to think real hard of a gadget I use in the kitchen... Can't think of any.

Good knives, pans (iron, non-stick and stainless), pressure cooker, slow cooker, wok, wooden/stainless spoons & spatulas, whisk, brushes, stainless bowls, baking dishes, baking sheets, cutting board, knife sharpener/honer, induction cooker, spider, mandolin, colander and strainer.

Those are the things I use the most. I think that would make an incredible housewarming gift to someone if I could afford all of it.

I am considering getting a breadmaker.. really want to..

Maybe they're better these days, but I wouldn't bother. I'd suggest a multitasker like a Kitchen Aid stand mixer if you don't like to do the kneading.

Do you like to cook but hate all the dicing and chopping? then you need the chop master. You can cut(pun intended) down your prep time by half with this device. Say goodbye to the days on non uniform cuts of vegetables, goodbye to the days of crying while cutting onions. The gadget is so revolutionary that once you start using it, you can no longer imagine life without it

Ummm.... I cook eggs and bacon in the skillet. Sometimes.

Oh what am I saying!? THE MICROWAVE! (leftovers for lunch while the wife is at work)

Ever do that thing where you scramble some eggs and put it in a glass with butter? It's like a scrambled egg loaf.

I have a breadmaker and I love it. I don't eat bread very often but when I do I want it to be good. I bought mine at a thrift store for $5, I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something I rarely use. It looked brand new but when I got it home it gave me an error code. I called the manufacturer (Sunbeam) and they sent me a brand spanking new bread machine because that model was defective. I told 'em I got it at the thrift store but they said it didn't matter. They made me send them back the plug to prove I cut it off but I didn't have to pay shipping or anything. Pretty great customer service.

Another favorite gadget is my Ninja. This is the set up I have. I only paid $35 for this baby at Kohls a couple of years ago. It makes the best icees and salsa - chops everything up great.

Another thing I've had my eye on is this ladle. It stands up on it's own - brilliant!!!

I've never seen a Chop Master before. It looks pretty amazing, I'm going to keep my eye out for it.

One gadget that didn't work out for me was a NuWave oven. I wanted to love it but it was too small for my family. I would've needed 2 of them and they take up a lot of counter space. If you only cook for 2 people, it would be ideal.

My counter top convection oven, I love it! It even has a defroster--I never use a microwave anymore and barely use the gas oven.

Faster than electric, easier than electric, never tips over, works on any size can and in any thunderstorm.

It's green, yet paleo, and proof that progress is not always an improvement--so it drives liberals crazy!
