i heard glenn beck say this same thing..looks like the neo conns want ron paul to get out of the gop..so they tell you what you want to hear ,maybe get your hopes up..then they will just stab you in the back and leave ron paul to hang running as an indy...

Beachmaster -- I live in the Indy area -- I have found that when I can have a conversation over time, no pressure, that people begin to come around to Ron Paul. I too have a big McCain guy who has completely come over to Ron Paul.

On another day and another forum, I'll have to tell you about a crazy canoe trip me and some FSU college friends had down the Econfina River...

Sometimes it takes a while before people catch on to Ron Paul. Our work won't be easy nor quick.

Econfina... I live 30 miles from it. I used to gather fossilized wood from it years ago.

I also know a few Neo Con's who are Romney supporters (I couldn't get them to change) who have said if McCain is the nominee that they would gladly vote for Ron Paul for 3rd party if he were to run. If Hitlery were the Dem then I think we would have the perfect situation for Ron Paul to run 3rd party. We'd not only pull votes from pissed off Conservatives but also from Democrats who hate Hitlery (there are many of them). We'd ALSO be able to get every one of those "I'm not voting for the lesser of 2 evils so I just don't vote" people. They wouldn't have anything to complain about this time with Ron Paul running.

I'm not saying we need to give up on trying to get Ron Paul the Republican nomination. But I am realistic in that I doubt we can get enough delegates no matter what we do at the convention especially after the results of last night. I'm in this no matter what. But I really hope to be voting for Ron Paul in November and I don't want to have to write his name in. I want to see it printed on my ballot.

It is important to vote Constitution/Libertarian in November!

And give each of these parties a HUGE vote....regardless of who has their nominations....That way,it shows the number of conservatives and libertarians who were disgusted with the dingdong that the GOP nominated....

Ron can win 3rd party if he somehow can not get the GOP nomination. It is all about the message. We all know it. almost everyone u talk to likes him, and the platform. I had 30 people who would vote for him but couldn`t because of registration issues in NY. A 3rd party candidate could win with 30 some percent of the vote. I think Clinton and Bush won with 43% of the vote? I know they both were in the 40`s. The problem is time educating, and informing the voters. Start talking to everyone u know about him, and the platform just in case.
