Everything I hated about my own party all in one candidate called Trump.

I thought that for quite a while. What convinced me otherwise, Trump's bold comments that Hillary should be in prison right now and she was the worst Secretary of State in the history of this country. I always believed Trump was a placeholder for someone. I have to guess it is Bush because of their "mild" ping pong shots at each other. As for Hillary, Trump is hitting pretty hard.

Again, I'm not 100% on this, but him hitting Hillary that hard doesn't imply sincerity. The bigger you lie, the more believable it becomes, and Trump throwing around massive hyperbole Clinton's way might itself be a way to dissuade people from thinking that he's doing this for her. Every GOP candidate is throwing bombs at Clinton right now, so that doesn't really say anything.

No? You can think of a better poster child for brattiness? Who? Dubya?
lol. Dubya for sure. He never did one successful thing in business. How about a Kennedy?

He'd have done better investing his inheritance in the S&P 500. You must have missed the thread on that.
Yeah, must have.

Is this a good reason to elect someone who doesn't care about the issue, and has admitted to bribing politicians so he doesn't have to compete on a level playing field himself?
You mean that he doesn't care about free trade? We are so far from being able to have free trade, I don't think it is even germane. If we keep the crappy trade deals we have now and do more like the TPP, we aren't going to have a country left.

When kicking aliens out is your substitute for having any kind of plan at all for actually fixing the economy, yes. Yes it is. And it insults all of America's intelligence, because illegal aliens are three or four percent of the population, and ten times that many are out of work.
Well, he spoke about our crappy trade deals and sorry, but I don't consider 50 million illegal aliens and counting to be no big deal.

There are plenty of bad things about Trump. Hell, I would agree with you on a lot of them. But, I guess I don't think we need to twist things to get the point across.

Yeaw give someone 40 million and all the rich contacts of you father and you damned well better make money!

He made plenty of money on his own.

Eh, not really, if you're arguing legitimate free market methods of making money. He did learn how to game bankruptcy laws and utilize mob connections that he likely also inherited from his father, so he had some competency, but I wouldn't consider it something to brag about. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs didn't get a massive inheritance from which to build upon and they've arguably benefited America far more with their wealth.

Maybe you are correct on this. I just thought the "prison" word was pretty strong. I do think Trump is holding for someone. And it would have to be Bush or Hillary.

You don't really throw people you invite to your wedding in prison. You also don't have a long phone conversation with hillary' husband in which that husband encourages you to run.

much of that also applies to Jeb and Carly. and except for Rand they are all war mongers.

True, and I think as Carly goes higher in the polls, her dark side will come out more, and Jeb will hopefully not make a comeback from the abyss he's in right now, but I am wary of a repeat of the horrid McCain comeback of 2008 repeating itself.

Trump's solutions aren't free trade. They may be even more disastrous than the status quo, if realized.

Don't get sucked into the Trump cult, LE. You're better than that.

I know they're not free trade, sarge. I am extremely concerned about these trade agreements we have and very alarmed about this new one, TPP. They are still trying to merge us into a union. So, I want it stopped. I hope Rand starts speaking out against them and I will admit that I was glad that someone, even if it was Trump, said how badly they stunk. But, honestly, if Rand doesn't win the nomination, I'll probably just sit this one out.

Steve Jobs, I'll agree with. Bill Gates, you should check out some more. Most techies hate him, dating back to when he stole DOS. He didn't improve, either.

See, it's this kind of stuff. It just makes you look jealous. Hit him on policy stuff; not something stupid like this.
There is rich kid and a rich brat. Trump is a brat that thinks he is better than everyone else because he was born to wealth and tramples on people that didn't inherit wealth. I have no problem with rich people even inherit riches but when those rich people are crony capitalist they can go to hell. Now get back to your neoconfederate racism.

Compared to Trump, I'd say Gates did more for the country, though personally I'm more of a fan of Steve Wozniak, though he didn't make quite as much of a massive fortune off his work the way the other 2 did so he wouldn't have fit into the point I was making.

Microsoft is infamous, but Bill Gates is popular as a philanthropist. He runs has a charity that put's the Clinton's to shame, he is donating his billions unlike the "cool" Steve Jobs. He even encourages other billionaires to sign pledges to donate their fortunes to the world after they are gone, he is the closest thing to batman that exists in this world. Maybe he isn't popular around techies that think apple is gods gift to the world.

Seriously? lol. Because I don't like the fact that our country's laws are being broken as our country is being invaded by a horde of illegal aliens?

If that's your issue, does that mean that you are a commie, or is it a useful idiot?

How's your Mother, by the way?

Oh puke me. You really need to look into what Gates has been contributing to and his agenda.
