EVERYONE online, can you give 3 minutes right now to vote up 4 CNN debate questions!

For "All the candidates", but directed to Romney and Huckabee, number 95 on the Topic tab (Economy): Governors Huckabee and Romney: in Iowa and Michigan, you promised very state-specific benefits, and then won the state. Ethanol and farm subsidies in Iowa, Governor Huckabee, and a revived auto industry in Michigan, Governor Romney. Why should the voters in the rest of the country view these as anything other than blatant bribery?

That's all folks! Vote for them please!

This one is my favorite. Which one of you put it in there? :)

America was founded as a Republic, in which the people’s rights were protected by a Constitution. How can you take an oath of office to defend the Constitution if you are willing to ignore certain parts of it? If you ignore certain parts, you undermine the document as a whole; and if you make the argument that the times have changed, then we must wonder why amendments have not been made to accommodate your desired changes. Only one man on stage, Ron Paul, has shown through his career his sincere dedication to defending the document without exception. Can the rest of you either apologize for your undermining of the document and pledge to uphold it from this moment forth, or else please get off stage and stop making a joke out of the principles our founding fathers fought and died for?

"If you believe we need to win the war in Iraq to make progress in the war on terror, do we not need to start and win wars in all countries that harbor Islamic fundamentalists since they are the proclaimed enemy? Do you agree with Senator McCain's statement two weeks ago when he said 'I'm sorry to tell you, theres going to be other wars'?"

Suggested answer to debate question: Possibly the framework for a speech?

I also agree that I cannot predict the future and promise that there will never be another war. But what I can promise the American people is that if this country's brightest and bravest are going to be sent into harms way - it will only be to defend the sovereignty and security of THIS free Nation and our people. I promise to use all of our military might, not for show, not for aggressive invasions but for defense. I will direct our military to fight the extremists who threaten our freedoms, not the armies of the countries they live in.

As President of this country I will never go to war without a deceleration of war from the people through their elected congressional officers. Thomas Jefferson once said, "It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. " These words have never rang more true to the American people

We are already seeing the devastating economic effects of our current warfare-welfare state. Our country is 9 trillion dollars in debt yet every year our representatives spend billions more than they take in. Our government is quick to mortgage our future in the name of securing it. They have borrowed nearly 900 billion dollars from their proclaimed, retirement security fund. I find it ironic that the social security fund is causing the very crisis it was promised to prevent. It is time American's stopped turning to the government for answers and started exercise their God given freedoms.

Enough is enough. Our frivolous spending and utter disregard for fiscal responsibility is quite literally sucking the life out of the working men and women of this country. You are being presented two solutions to the problems we face: My opponents offer you more spending, bigger government, and new programs These are the very things that got us into this mess yet they are being offered as solutions? The American people have had enough. I firmly believe Ronald Regan when he said, "You and I are told increasingly we have to choose between a left or right. Well I'd like to suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There's only an up or down... up to the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. And regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this downward course."

In this election, we are not choosing between 'hope' and 'change' we are choosing between the freedoms our founding fathers fought and died for and everything they fought against. We must choose less government, less taxes, more freedom, more liberty, and more individual responsibility. Support me in fighting for these freedoms. Join my campaign and help rebuild America by harnessing Her true power - We, the people.

I wonder how the other candidates would answer my question. Would they agree with McCain and take on his war monger cloak or would the distance themselves from him and make RP's position all the more credible. Even republicans who support the iraq war do NOT want more wars (at least not anytime soon).

Tonight is the final push to get our questions up there. Please ask everyone you can ask, to vote for all our 5 questions. Details here http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=100959

Just an idle thought, "Who are all the people voting up the NASA questions, is space exploration really that important to some people that it is their #1 concern while our economy falls apart, our troops die in an endless "war on terror" and our personal freedoms are stolen from us?"

Space exploration could do wonders for humanity. Not just the discoveries but the breakthroughs in technology that occur when being pushed to go that one step beyond. It is something that is often overlooked also.

However, I totally agree with you. At this moment in time there are more pressing matters that need fixing.

PLEASE Vote for the OP as requested... DO NOT dilute the vote by choosing "better" questions that came up after the original thread started. If we're gonna win it, we have to just stick to our guns from the start.

We had the perfect opportunity here to get Ron questions which the GOP will love his answers to; and we've given him questions where he'll be entirely preaching to the choir.

+1, these questions are not very good

They are not going to ask our most voted question. Don't you all remember what happened at the Youtube Debates? They let us vote for the best questions online, and then they chose all those bias questions for Dr. Paul at the debate.

The most pertinent ones are in the last few pages

Qustion 300 is by far, the most important. Additionally, 282, 270, 269, 286, 247, and 262 all demonstrate that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who understands, or will fulfill, his oath of office as President.

Other good ones are 59, 24, 265, 205, 119, 206, 215, and 66.
