My point is simple. Any man engineered object isn't indestructible and even something designed with the intent of being strong can be manufactured or constructed with materials that do not meet the highest standards outlined in the design.

With the titanic they used materials in some of the construction that wasn't durable particularly the nails and screws.

With such a huge building and a margin of corruption at the time of construction you would say well I can cut corners here I dont think it will get hit by a plane.
