Ever since Ron went to the "Sweater Look" we been on a Surge.... Should he keep it?

The sweater gives off the friendly grandfatherly Mr. Rogers vibe. Plus it's cold, hopefully they will keep Ron warm and healthy.

The sweater is a really good look. It helps him look friendly, grandfatherly, wise, and thoughtful/professorly. And it gives a good silhouette that highlights the engagement and enthusiasm on his face. He should wear it as much as possible.

Being a lean person, Ron pulls off the layered look well. I think he looks approachable and warm with the sweater look.

Just my middle-aged female opinion.

I think it really helps with the gender gap, as well. The approachable grandfather look is one that I think women are more likely to embrace for Ron as opposed to the infamous oversized suit.

I'd like to see a lot more Carol in SC. She's quite a weapon.

it worked for frothy. he's the sweater vest king. then again... maybe it only worked for a few days in his case ;)

Y'all can forget the sweater look for SC and FLA (if they do indeed go proportional).

I wonder... does Ron golf?

Ron looks great when he dresses casually. With the others you can tell they're faking it and don't feel comfortable in normal clothes. These things bother me.

Ditto on the sweater look. The first time my wife saw Ron Paul, he was in a sweater. She said, "he looks so sweet. I feel like I can trust him." A day later after watching For Liberty and a dinner table discussion, my wife joined the R3volution! :)

I don't post all that often, mostly I still lurk despite being registered. I have to say though... I agree very much. For the debates he should start wearing trimmer suits I think but for most campaign trail/meet-and-greet appearances/interviews the sweater (with and without the blazer) looks fantastic on him! Friendly, wise, and very likable.
