It is a little sad, how the tone is in this thread from some folks. Christians are not mind-numbed robots blindly following their pastors and voting for whoever he chooses. Please don't characterize it that way. If these pastors had selected Paul for their choice I don't think your tone would be the same.
Pastors make personal endorsements, and sometimes groups of pastors in a regional network may make a blanket endorsement. Churches are not permitted to tell their congregation how to vote and most church members are free thinking individuals who make their own choices. It is unfair, uninformed, and frankly insulting to characterize the people we are trying to get to vote for Paul in this way. There are many Paul supporters who are Christians and active church members. Even though a pastor may support one candidate that does not mean the members of his congregation will do the same, regardless of the candidate.
Frankly, if I was a supporter of another candidate and a Christian, I would be very put off by the way that some people refer to Christians on this forum. Just because someone does not presently support Paul does not necessarily mean they are sheeple, blinded by Fox News or stupid. Building support takes time and there are many folks here who at one time were not hardcore libertarian minded Austrian economists. In fact, I venture to guess there are some here that supported Obama in 08, or Bush in 04 before they dug deeper and gained a true understanding of the message of liberty.
So don't insult people just because they are Christians and haven't yet turned to support Paul in the election. The tone you use against them might be the very thing that prevents them from looking further into his policies.
