Epiphany! Why Rand Paul voted to sanction Iran...

very, very interesting. If we get a full audit, and it turns out the FED has been loaning money to Iran then we can lock up Bernanke and crew for supporting terrorism?

Yeah, Iran is the chief sponsor of terrorism in the world.

It could very well be that the Fed is helping to make that happen, for their financial backers.

It could be that the only reason anyone is paying any attention at all to Iran is it has a solid source of income and don't need to be tied in with the global system of central banks.

A while back I heard there were only seven nations on the world left without being part of the global controlled network of central banks. The list had Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya on it then. Now I think it is down to Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Cuba.

The way recent stories sound is that Iceland has slipped out of the global banks clutches. I suppose new stories and legends of their evilness are in the works.

I past over the chance to post pictures of some beautiful Icelandic women to bring you this story. Don't miss it.

The important thing to realize was that this sanction was actually against Iran's central bank!

Who feels the effect of the sanctions the most?

The Iranian citizens do. And what right do we have to target the central bank of Iran?

I have heard Rand Paul say the same false rhetoric of war hawks in describing Iran as a threat to Israel. I am not buying for one second he is just trying to fool them by pretending he is one of them. Face facts, he is one of them concerning foreign policy. Rand Paul would never receive my vote period for anything. He is not a chip off the old block in any way shape or form.

It is as if Rand has armed himself with a long , razor-sharp, Samurai sword and has it fully drawn back with both hands, ready to strike, and to fully engage in the art of war. As he repeats the mantra: "I endorse, I endorse, I endorse.." to transfix and hypnotize his adversary, he moves two steps closer each time toward the two-headed monster, until when he finally is very close (somewhere around 2016), he makes the decisive and lightening quick, fatal blow...

So, the Iran Central Bank has been simply converting assets to gold, and making transactions in gold instead of the dollar in order to bypass the sanctions anyway. So what exactly was the goal here? Doesn't this hurt the petrodollar? But why would US interests want to do that? It makes sense if there is a plan and long term effort to replace the dollar with something else for global trade. My question is, do neocons really want that?? This doesn't seem like it is going to end well for the US.

I wonder how many times per week Rand or Ron sign in here.
I know they both read the DP pretty much every day, and I know for sure they are definately aware of a lot of what goes on here on RPF but I don't know if they read RPF every day. Also I am pretty sure neither of them have an account here.

I wonder why they prefer DP? Hey, that could have been a debate question for all of the candidates. Instead of "iPhone or Blackberry?" It could have been "DP or RPF?"
