Speeding shouldn't be tolerated by cops, but that doesn't mean you should speed with them, drive in the middle of the road, tail-gate the car in front of you while beeping your horn at him.

Think about this. Cop in uniform and cop car is driving at a very high rate of speed. He's pulled over after long chase and barely complains. Why?

I'd guess either he's young, and thinks he could actually get in trouble from the video. Or more likely, he was somewhere doing something he wasn't supposed to and that's why he doesn't want to use his radio and mess with the guy with the video camera.

The chaser is a completely irresponsible idiot for driving the speeds he was maintaining on those roads...with other cars around.
Ran a stop sign too.

If he was intending to hold the guy accountable, he should have called a trooper or at least local dispatch to have another motor unit come and issue the citation.
Arrest is not really feasible for excessive speed, unless Virginia is unique, but I am sure he could have pressed the issue and gotten a citation issued...
then got one himself by the responding unit with the video as evidence...lol

That wasn't a sheriff...it was a deputy. He was probably off the clock as he was speeding out of town running code.

Sheriffs don't drive police cruisers. And, he had no reason to arrest him. He could have ticketed him for speeding or running that stop sign if he were on the clock. Since he didn't, I assume that he is off for the day heading home, and didn't want the sheriff to know that he was speeding in his cruiser with no cause.
