Any election day stuff not about the presidential race or Rand/Amash/Massie/Jones (which have their own threads), post it here. There's a separate thread for the marijuana ballot issues too, but there are other ballot issues people may wish to discuss here.

Any good liberty candidates running that you are keeping an eye on? How about predictions for how the house and senate will turn out?

I'll be watching the Wisconsin senate race somewhat closely. I think I'd rather had Feingold pull it out, him and Rand can do some good work together in the senate on civil liberty issues. Feingold has been leading all the way but the race recently tightened.

Jason Lewis I really hope wins. Only polling in the race was two weeks ago and had him down by 5 though.

Can't really think of any other races to watch out for.

Feingold will win, but I hope he doesn't. I hope the Dems don't win the senate, a Dem Senate and president Hillary will be an awful combination on personal liberty issues even if Feingold is better than some on certain civil liberties. Gridlock please.

Edit, just clicked your link. Wow it did tighten he had been up like 10 last I knew. Maybe Johnson will win.

Good point. I don't know if I really have a preference then. Just really hope Jason Lewis wins. I loved him when he used to fill in for Rush Limbaugh and rail away for 3 hours; I bet he could do some great rants in congress. :D

For a while it looked like Jim Cooper (d 5th district which is Nashville and one tiny county) was in big trouble. Then east and north Nashville results were reported, and it looks like he will retain his seat. He is a mealy mouthed do-nothing, but liberal as the day is long.

What's this in district 9 NJ?

I went to the website of a local NJ TV channel to check what's happening in local races and what do I see? The guy running for the house of Reps. in district 9 - as a Libertarian - looks just like Ron Paul! :D http://politics.news12.com/voters-guide/new-jersey/results/nov-8-2016-general-election

I just found out Kelly Ayotte lost her senate seat in a tight race in New Hampshire.

Of course a Democrat will take her place, but I can't say it's such a terrible thing that there will be one less neocon Republican in the senate. That's fine by me actually.

Good riddance.
