You know, I guess I stand corrected. Surprisingly, from what I can tell, Easter is not a Federal holiday or national observance, or whatever-the-fuck they want to call it.

I would've thought the gov would have a monopoly on all of these by now.

Easter is not federal it is a christian holiday to celebrate Jersus rising from the dead this is also why we have good friday for Jesus died on the cross on friday and rose again on sunday.

Ha. I don't either. I have my own holidays and they usually revolve around the after holiday sales.
Christmas is near the end of january. Save 50% of the gifts, air flights are cheap and easy. Traffic is low, and it is easier for everyone to get the time off. (people who wait tables/runs diners don't get holidays off)
