Dutch Reject EU-Ukraine Deal in Referendum

When you guys over there gave up your currencies, you should've all been made to give up your languages too and adopt English only.

We know nearly all you northern Europeans can speak English, but you don't use it all the time which really pisses me off when I'm over there.

This forum should be English only. Bryan needs a put that in the guidelines

Did you call me a "f a g g o t?"

Reported.

I think that is when you try to throw a booger at somebody. Or a horse in some kid's story- "My Friend Flicker". I get confused so easily.

Great, the government is now pissing in our faces. Not that I expected anything less. These people are predictable, they will simply always do the opposite of what they are saying..

The prime minister went to Ukraine yesterday to;

"The parties discussed the entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, as well as the completion of the approval of the EU’s decision on the visa-free regime for Ukrainians."

And

"The parties coordinated joint actions on the investigation into the MH-17 tragedy caused by Russian militants in July 2014."

These are from the Ukrainian government's press office, obviously our government is silent about this. The only news website that is mentioning it is 'Geenstijl', the same people who managed to get the referendum in the first place.

More on this later.

(source, probably interesting to put into google translate as their articles are filled with sarcasm/irony and bad word jokes... http://www.geenstijl.nl/mt/archieven/2016/05/rutte_spreekt_poro_associatiev.html)

So.. 2 months or so after the referendum the government still has not decided what to do with the result.. Even though Ukraine claims they are pissing on it, here they are still pretending.

Apparently some bureaucrat from the foreign ministry who's responsible for Europe stuff has invited the organizers of the referendum to have some kind of conversation in a smoke filled room.

Here's part of the article where they decline such conversation;

My rough translation;
Apparently we weren't clear enough yesterday, since the ministry of Foreign Affairs now wants to have a conversation with the organizers of the referendum. Today the phones rang at Jan Roos and Thierry Baudet's houses. It was one "Thijs van der Plas, director-general European cooperation at the ministry of Foreign Affairs. (mouth full), who in the name of minister Koenders was allowed to call them to invite them for a conversation on Ukraine. The people from the citizens committee and the writer of this article are also welcome. As was said by the paper pusher (who we had to google. Nice and cosy, in a backroom, talking about the results of the referendum. Well, now. Stick the invitation where the sun doesn't shine, Bert. We've said this before: GeenPeil et-al have no mandate to voters and do not wish to change the treaty and do not wish to have any political talks.

Entire article.

(this is how you negotiate.. You point out what is wrong, win a referendum and then tell politicians to go f themselves.) :p
