Drudge - Shock Poll: Obama 42%, Ron Paul 41%

I think there are many who are biased, but honest. Some people view all media as a giant conspiracy. I think that's highly inaccurate.

I don't know about a "giant conspiracy" but considering that all of the major media outlets are owned by a few very large, very politically-connected corporate conglomerates, IMO there's ample reason to be suspicious of their agenda.

A $10 million dollar day is entirely possible and will be a great building block for the following ones. I plan on donating the maximum, but more importantly I already have people lined up who did not donate last time around simply because they did not know Dr. Paul.

I was just having a conversation with someone who didn't know who Ron Paul was until recently and I told her about this poll. She said she's in for $100, so that's one more Benjamin for Ron. I, myself am going to be able to donate more for 2012 than I did for 2008. I really think 10 million will be pretty easy. Looking at where things stand right now, my best guess is that the first bomb might generate 12-15 million, and I have never been one to overestimate the money bombs. In fact, I think I've usually underestimated them. I don't know if I see RP beating that later on, though. A lot of people will max out on the first one.

And truthfully, I'm one of the people who suspect he might not run, but I'm gonna live in denial for the present.

Another thing Facebook is huge now and that will help us with moneybombs

we never had facebook before, well we did but it was never as big or had as much potential

considering the fact that in the 2008 election cycle many of his supporters were college students... these same students will have graduated by 2012 and will be making more money than any other time in their life. And guess what! They will all still support paul and will donate their asses off especially since he is more viable this go round. I for one will have graduated law school and will donate the maximum.. whereas last time 2008 i was still in law school and was only able to do 300.

It will be a huge deal... 20 million donated in 1 day! etc etc...

I just read this entire thread with a huge smile on my face. What great news for the liberty movement and I can't stop smiling even as I type this. :D

Some great insight and opinions from the liberty lovers present her. Get ready for the onslaught but do not worry because truth is Dr. Paul's greatest attribute and he will be vindicated by 2012. The economy will only worsen simply because the government has increased the roadblocks instead of removing them. The coming collapse of the Ponzi Social Security system will be a major event and the methods employed to "bail-out" the hollow system will be even more disastrous to the establishment. Thus the talking point that Dr.Paul would throw people out on the street would not work because his solution is to end the $1 trillion a year foreign empire and tie the people over while letting the younger ones plan their own future. He is the only one who actually has a practical solution and that is why corporate media propagandize against him.

The Money bomb has been discussed here and in my opinion the first one should be held on Dec 16th 2010. I may be wrong, but aren't the elections over by first Tuesday of November? If that is true than Dec 16th is perfect because a month+ allows Dr. Paul to announce, have a website up an running and for us to do our thing. A $10 million dollar day is entirely possible and will be a great building block for the following ones. I plan on donating the maximum, but more importantly I already have people lined up who did not donate last time around simply because they did not know Dr. Paul. Furthermore, not a day goes by when I don't mention Paul to someone new. However, almost every day I encounter someone who has never heard of him. A brief introduction of Dr. Paul after I have described his position on the topic being discussed leaves people intrigued and coming back for more. Just today, my co-workers were talking about Taxes and I briefly told them about the principle of being truly free and how the government decides what we get to keep. They all agreed with me and then I told them about Dr. Paul and how he wants to get rid of the IRS and income tax. A new employee who started a week ago had never heard of Dr. Paul until today and I made a mental note to gently begin to enlighten this person on the principles of liberty. But, instead, she brings up the subject of education and how her cousin, who is a teacher, was complaining that there were no funds for PE equipment. I pointed out to her that for every dollar that the government takes from states for educational purposes only half is ever returned. Of course, I also told her about Dr. Paul's position on the issue and out of amazement she said "why have I never heard of this guy?" No problem, She will hear about him and his wonderful ideas from me plenty! My point is that just keep talking to people and the opportunities of bringing up issues of liberty and Dr. Paul are boundless simply due to the governments claws in every facet of our lives. Be an upstanding citizen with good morals, honesty, and integrity at all times. People will gravitate to you if you speak the truth.

I apologize for the rant.

Peace

Agreed. When the people employed in the media begin to see the disintergration and corrosion of their neighborhoods and the struggles in their families due to the financial hardships caused by the greedy elitists, they will once again heed the call of the people and stand by truth and liberty against deceit and tyranny. Like Ron Paul said, nothing can stop an idea whose time has come.

Ask the Political Class, though, and it’s a blowout. While 58% of Mainstream voters favor Paul, 95% of the Political Class vote for Obama.

Not "republicans", but the "political class" of republicans.

Hi! I'm the forum moron. What is this "political class" of republicans? Are they supposed to be our elected republican leaders?

Its not the political class of republicans, its just the political class.

Its defined on how they answered the last 3 questions I believe.

Yup! I'm one of them! Graduated in 2007, but have put together a decent savings since then.

I only have a modest savings, but I'm willing to donate some substantial amounts to RON PAUL 2012! I have three friends who would also do the same.

LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

This should be a HUGE selling point to the Republican party. Ron Paul has the best chance out of any candidates to dethrone Obama in 2012.

Yeah I realize that but that's what makes it even better.
Obama is becoming more unpopular by the days. The left is disappointed, the independents are looking for other solutions and the right never liked him in the first place.

Ron Paul should be polling even better now that a year has passed by and things are becoming worse which makes Paul's message more appealing.
