DRUDGE: NEWT'S EX UNLOADS -- NETWORK DEBATES ETHICS OF RELEASE.

Howard Kurz is tweeting that his sources say there is nothing new in the Gingrich interview that Marianne hasn't said before, but that it is explosive because it becomes a TV story and just before the primary.
Oh, that old story, everybody's heard that story, that's old news. Nothing new here move along.

Maybe everyone's forgot just how corrupt Newt was, and is, and needs to be reminded. There's a whole new generation that needs to hear the Newt story.

Question.

Even if 'the interview' it's not aired is the fact that an interview exists enough to tip Newt's campaign to nose dive?

Yep you would think this is actually worst than putting it out now. Because if it's just something that's already been said people will say, "Oh well we already knew about this". The way it is now it will be all that is all talked about until the interview is released. Every question Newt get's from the media will be about this interview and his ex-wife. Look back at the Cain Wreck for how the media will be pouncing him.

If they really want to mess with the Grench campaign ABC will say they feel they should release the interview after the GOP primary is over. No one will vote for the man thinking the left has a loaded gun on Gingrich.

Unless her interview unveils something criminal, like he put out hits on people or buried someone in their backyard, I don't think it's going to make much difference. If voters cared about political inconsistencies, Mitt Romney wouldn't be the front runner.

There's a debate tomorrow too so if ABC does air it, I wonder WHEN? Compete with the debate's timeslot on CNN? Interesting.

A lot of people in some of the comments on articles seem to be assuming it's "just dirty politics". Who knows what the majority think though. My fear is that this won't be bad enough, and then he'll play the victim, get a bunch of free face time on the news, and milk it to a win in SC. The Grinch campaign letter on Drudge makes it looks like they are going to play the "family matter privacy" card.

Some people seem to think that would be good, but I'm not sure anything could be worse than him emerging as the "Romney alternative"...

Well if its anything like the Nancy Pelosi 'i have stuff that will bring him down forever' crap, and it winds up being the ethics violations shit, well people wont give a shit. I mean, THEY SHOULD, but its stuff his sheepish voters know of and dont care about. Nancy failed epically with that shit she put out some months back, sure hope his ex has something better.

Lol check out my bad ass post count :D

If there were "nothing new" in the interview, then why all the controversay over it? Seems like Newt's allies are trying to brush it off as no big deal. The odds are good that there's something in there that can damage Newt.

Oh I agree that's why I was saying it's worst on Newt not being out, it could cast doubt in the voters mind hehe.

It's a point of historical fact, and I am a historian, that the attacks on my character are pious baloney and the result of my enemies spending twenty trillion dollars to bring me down. Me, a teacher of history and the soon to be nominee, nothing more than a humble man trying to save this nation by knocking Obama out. I say, KILL THEM. Thank you.

To make it look like he's being attacked and rally his troops. Believe it or not, a lot of the feedback on some of these articles were suggesting that there was a media conspiracy against the Grinch and all the sorts of things that are actually proven about the bias towards Paul and non-existent in his case. It was sickening. He's manipulative...if it doesn't sink him, he could end up using it some how.

Ohh ffs, NIGHTLINE? Why so damn late!! :( Nobody is going to see this crap, especially his old retiree votes who love em so much. Most of them go to bed 6pm and wake up at 3am, ffs

#2

The one he was cheating on with #3 while forcing the American public to have to listen to the Lewinsky bs for months on end.

Hahha yea, there were actually rumors that him and bill had a secret pact too, but once it got blown open, newt turned on him like the pos he is.

Hahaha I laughed so hard when I saw this headline I spit all over my laptop!

I hope she doesn't just get Newt to drop out, but end his political career for good.
