DRUDGE: NEWT'S EX UNLOADS -- NETWORK DEBATES ETHICS OF RELEASE.

:eek:ABCNEWS suits determined it would be "unethical" to run the Marianne Gingrich interview so close to the South Carolina Primary.

Question.

Even if 'the interview' it's not aired is the fact that an interview exists enough to tip Newt's campaign to nose dive?

No, people will assume it is smear until they see it. See no evil hear no evil kinda thing.

Maybe in opposite world! I think most voters would agree that it would be unethical NOT to air it before the primary!

Interesting. After Cain, and now Gingrich, maybe people will learn better than to trust liars.

3 top things it could be, all of which would not surprise me:

1. He is a racist (constantly said racist remarks)
2. Abortion
3. Bribery charges
and just for fun:
4. SOmething involving prostitutes

It's only "ethical" to air anti-Paul material as fact immediately when it's completely conjecture.

ABC doesnt look like they will release it to the people. once agian media bias at its finest

It isn't over. We need to do very well in SC and he prevents that grand finish. He'll be out sure, but only after he has caused enough damage.

Liberty PAC need to get on this right away!!!

no. We don't know what the 'bombshell' is, it might just be petty stuff that makes him look mean spirited which we all know, already. There is a concept about 'being more prejudicial than probative'. I have no idea why they would want to hide it, so I can't say.

She spoke to ABCNEWS reporter Brian Ross for two hours. Her explosive revelations are set to rock the campaign. But now a "civil war" has erupted inside of the network, an insider claims, on exactly when the confession will air!

She's already spilled her guts.

(Just one interview... there are others.)

At this point, if she comes out with something too bizarre, it won't be credible as she didn't mention it before.

I think it will two hours of an ex-wife rolling her eyes, saying he cheated on her, blah, blah, blah....
I feel for the lady.
But, at the same time, apparently nobody in this country gives a shit about infidelity in marriage(s).

(I added the 's' for the benefit of those out there who might believe in polygamy... just trying to be fair.)

Unethical? These "news" networks are big hypocrites. If they had footage/proff that Ron Paul wrote those newsletters it'd be out in the open yesterday. But, when it comes to an establishment figure like Newt, um we'll just sit on it, we don't want to bite the hand that feeds us. If ABC doesn't release this, then whatever credibility they may have in people's eyes will be shot. For better or worse, their wagon is now hitched to Newt.

Yet ABC News has in large headline plastered across their front page "Romney Parks Millions in Cayman Islands". So I guess ethics only applies to candidate of the suits choice. Clearly the suits were in the tank for Gingrich.
