It may have nothing to do with ethics. They may have just some garbage that ends up being nothing, and are holding on to it, so the Newter gets some negative press before the primary. i.e., they want Romney to win.

We all knew that this was going to come out eventually so why are they waiting to release this? A journalists job is to find a story, get all the details including evidence and witnesses on record, THEN report the damn story... Screw timing THE FACT THEY ARE HAVING THIS INTERNAL CONVERSATION IS PROOF OF HOW NON-JOURNALISTIC THEY REALLY ARE, PROOF THEY ARE IN FACT VERY POLITICALLY INVOLVED.
